I have downloaded and been working extensively with this. In trial mode, after 1,000 frames, it stops working despite it being advertised as fully functional in trial mode plus the addition of a small watermark overlay. Do you know if this a limitation on the trial version, or is this frame limitation also in force in the paid version?

I'm not a developer but I wish Photomator had better presets. Like a combination of Lightroom's presets and Darkroom's browse/share preset features. I also wish the Denoise feature was comparable with Lightroom's. I'm in the free trial and I'm still heavily considering purchasing it, though. But I also might just stick with Lightroom for the moment even though I hate their subscription model. TBD.

You can access the Provo peak via Y Mountain trail.... But that is a long hike to be sure. Just wouldn't have to drive on the sketchy road is all.

IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK FOR ME, I WANT A REFUND SO BAD

Not worth $149 just to buy a only a simple rotoscoping tool (which doesn't even work that good) when, for $295, you can buy the entire editing software package of Davinci Resolve Studio, which not only has high precision Magic Mask rotoscoping but also all kinds of cutting edge editing capabilities, tools, transitions, color grading, etc. It's interesting that Final Cut Pro is so far behind the curve when it comes having a built-in rotoscoping tool. Its competitors have had it for years.

Why shouldn’t I be using the free FCPX Scene Removal Mask? It’s free, and it gives more professional results. Am I missing something (apart the fancy name “Rotoscoping”, but I don’t think it’s worth this plugin price, per se!). Thank you, Joseph!

Good to see that people start to work on alternatives for mRotoAI without subscription! But RotoMatic feels more kind of a too expensive Beta Version at this point. It is a disease of our time to abuse customers for testing. Lets see what an update to version 2.0 will give us in the future or what other developers will do shortly ... I will wait for a better conclusion.

What is the difference between Pixelmator Pro for Mac and Pixelmator for iOS? I own Pixelmator Pro and love it and just bought a new iPad but only see Pixelmator for iOS. Any suggestions for this subscriber would be appreciated.

So sad to see where we are today in FCP. Tools that just aren't ready for prime time and have no business being utilized in any professional video environment. My clients would laugh at the results of something like this. No knock on you Joseph. I would never kill the messenger.

Hello, I'm new here and I want to ask one thing. I started using Pixelmátor Pro and I highly recommend this software. It is excellent. But one thing is missing me. I shoot with a Pentax K1 camera and its HD Pentax DFA 100 mm macro 1:2.8 ED AW macro lens. Why does the software not detect this lens? Instead, it reports detection of the older SMC Pentax DFA 100mm macro 1:2.8 WR lens every time. Nor does Apple Photos detect it for me. If I previously processed the photo in Lightroom, everything was fine, when I put this photo in Apple Photos and then wanted to edit it in Pixelmátor Pro, it was already working there with this newer lens. That ended after canceling my account with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. I am grateful in advance for advice or recommendations. Best regards, Zoltán

And this is why I can't see myself even trying to do most of the successful stuff out there. There's already so many people filling the spots and doing a much better job and with more passion for it. It's a drop in the ocean. This video helped solidify what to do with my channel. You gotta find an angle that makes you happy and also is interesting to people. And you do it because it's what you want to add to the landscape. You believe in your product enough to keep doing it and get better and take feedback. You connect with people on things you share a love for, and it works out in the end. Doesn't have to be the next big thing. It just has to be worth your time and effort and thought. You survive however you can, you enjoy your time as much as you can, and you try to make the world a little better by being here. It's a balance you gotta constantly try to achieve and maintain. 👍🏻

I've watched two videos now using this tool, both from people that I know are good with FCP, and they both are pretty poor results. I am not impressed with the quality of the results at all. This can't be a finished product... I expect better than this.

Thanks again for these great tutorials on Pixelmator. I'm learning so much (because I never took the time to dig in and try to discover the whole menu. I have a question so far: I've notice that moving the right cursor in the "level" menu toward the left modifies the histogram in the "curves" menu (the image getting lighter), but doing the opposite, that is, sliding the right side of the line in the "curves" menu to the left (the image getting lighter as well) doesn't change the histogram in the "levels" menu. So, what is the link between these two menus and how should we proceed if we want to expand the histogram (on other software, I proceed myself with the "curves")?

Honestly I have continued paying monthly because in the short term it was cheaper than the cancellation fee 😅

For three months I attempted to cancel an Adobe Stock account and for three months Adobe reps told me it had been canceled. For four moths Adobe continued to charge me for the account. When I blocked them from charging my credit card they used a card that I had removed from my Stock account months earlier to charge me for a 5th month. When the FTC is done with Adobe I hope an avalanche of class action lawsuits descends on them. They mislead their customers, they steal our work to train their AI models, and their long-term strategy is to put the customers who built them into what they are today out of work. I would love to see the collapse and utter ruination of Adobe but unfortunately they are well positioned to win the AI image generation race. Adobe wants customers who lack skills and are reliant on Adobe to make things for them. That is a much bigger market than they one they currently service.

I had Pixelmator for years now, but I mostly use it when I need to add some text or convert PDF forms to fill them. I use other software for photo editing but I've always believed that Pixelmator is a great but underrated application, which you can get for only $50!. Thanks to your videos, I'm discovering many details of it (I have Pixemaltor Pro 3.6). Thanks again for your pedagogical way to present it.

Found this video because it appears, they're once again getting sued for the same thing--or maybe it's just taken this long. Not a lawyer, don't know how long it takes for things like this to happen. But this, in conjunction with all of the ToS additions and AI. I mean, I've been using Photoshop for 20 years at this point...really want something that doesn't have much of a learning curve, and can be a smooth transition from what I've known--to learning something new. But it feels Affinity might be the best alternative out there for sure, and they're having a sale at the time of writing.
