The Swamp level is rather different in the PC version (which I had as a child), which does feel closer to what the TV version would be. For one, it's not 2D; also, in the PC version, it's not animal pictures you have to remember along the way - it's animal *sounds* that you then have to match with the pictures in their proper order to enter the cave

My favorite game from Cryo is Lost Eden, it has such immaculate vibes. Then there's also Atlantis 3 which is one of the most unintentionally hilarious adventure games I've played in my life. It's not good but also it's not broken or difficult. Totally recommend the PS2 version in part because the animations are worse, the MC looks like a sociopath with an odd accent who never blinks in that version.

Threads of Fate is probably one of the games I played most on my PS1 that didn’t include the words “final” or “fantasy” in the title-and I only had access to the demo. (I did buy it years later on PSN, though.)

No shade on anyone who enjoys them, but I often have a difficult time with bad English voice acting, and I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a fan dub that didn’t immediately put me off the entire translation project, so I gotta ask, is the Popolocrois fandub optional? Because if it isn’t, I don’t think I can play it.

It is a shame the execution and (un)playability of their games killed off Cryo because their singular aesthetics , art style and non conformism should be a blessing in this industry. If only they could have held on to that early 90’s level. In a way Focus Interactive is the Cryo of today, methinks, and their efforts are not lauded enough because they made some really nicely playable games with beautiful artwork and singular styling.

I love jank Cyro horror games. Also great is that nobody until October 2023 had a proper guide for this on GameFAQs! I am currently writing and mapping Aliens: A Comic Book adventure which is... a poor life choice.

I thought gold was bio-inert? It's why people have gold teeth and jewelry and gold foil on food. Does sweat actually corrode gold? That Guncon has to be colored plastic, or some kind of cheap metal tinted that way.

Its such a strange design decision to make the guy do a little dance at the end of every mission. Its also a very bizarre decision to make his body float in the air when he dies. When not just let him fall over?

To anyone knowledgeable in Capcom/Street Fighter history: I noticed during the Pocket Fighter section, in the snowy stage (example 2:31:50) in the cave furthest to the right, there appears to be Thomas or another character from Thomas The Tank Engine looking out. I searched this and found that there is another train in the background of the "Union Station" stage in Street Fighter V that also resembles Thomas (although much less so in my opinion). I realize it's rather vague and might be another character (or just an arbitrary smiling face), but the backgrounds being so detailed and full of deliberately placed references makes me doubt that. I'm extremely curious!

- Micky's Wild Adventure is a nightmare. my parents bought it because it had "cartoon art style" i played it 50 times, NEVER defeated it even once. and in the end, just watched a walkthrough and dropped it forever. gameplaywise? hyper difficult! this is not a game, it's a rageware. and the ending? not worth seeing let alone reaching. story? none. "fun" ?? none. - a bug's life nice game, acceptable graphics for its time, defeated it at least 4 times. - tarzan acceptable entertainment , difficulty wise bearable, finished it at least 80 times - toy story 2, GAME OF THE YEAR! 100% it at least 100 times. - mulan, one of the very first PS1 games we played, even my parents played. - donald duck's quack attack, 100% it a couple of times, acceptable. - the jungle book rhythm and groove, 100% it a few times - aladdin nasira's revenge, THIS IS NOT A "KIDS GAME" this is a rageware, played it 30 times NEVER defeated it, and ended dropping it that's all
