Wonder what the outcome of an interaction between Otto Skorzeny and Paddy Mayne would've been. Considering both lived in Ireland at various points in their lives, a meeting might not be impossible. I think it would've been an interesting conversation. I believe Paddy was already deceased when Skorzeny lived there. I reckon a few similar tales would be told and beers drank

Mayne was a giant of a man! There are no accolades that can adequately describe his extraordinary abilities & achievements. Outstanding leader. Outstanding soldier. Outstanding lawyer. Outstanding academically. Outstanding Irish International rugby player. Outstanding poet. A man driven to make the most of every day! RIP 🌺🌺🌺 At Peace.

To die in a car accident was unbelievable. From my old town. Drank in Rosses bar. Nobody bothered him. Just like he bothered nobody. Rest easy definitely was due the VC.

EXTREME exaggeration of the actual story: Rogue Heroes, which I read. And the 1980s rock music is way out of place. This is a silly and nearly disrespectful representation of the men.

A British Officer with his nose up his are would do it, then blame a subordinate. Definitely poetic licence hear when explaining the fighting tactics employed as a Commando. News Flash, the only explaining by a Commando would be a personal demonstration, guaranteed!
