"Just letting the folks know who have been coming across this, if you don’t want to risk damaging your device and voiding your warranty, Pioneer DJ is covering the repair for this issue. You simply fill out the form and someone gets back within a few days, sometimes the same day. Because this repair doesn’t require ordering parts, turn around has been reasonable. www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/contact/ " -Pri Yon Joni

@@djsupafly1 this page seems to be invalid now. Any idea if they're still covering the costs? Also, thanks so much for the videos.

I don’t think you’ll get the best out of your fader doing it this way pioneer puts such a thick amount of lube on it. Clean it off get all the dust out mine is a year old and I use decks savers and I was blown away how much dust and Specs got into the fader clean it live it I reversed the rubber nubs on the up faders so my up faders are as loose as my fader

Pioneer didn't make it easy to remove the fader on the rev7. There is no top plate and to access the fader assembly, a board is sitting on top of it and requires disconnecting it along with many ribbon cables. This is the easiest solution to anyone looking to fix their stiff fader without returning it back to pioneer.
