regrettably, that app is not available on my Samsung Galaxy S20 and whatever else is there, my D3400 can't connect to it. I don't think it has Wi fi. / I'm a newbie with DSLRs and I just got the D3400 used. Now I see why it was affordable. The cheap intervalometers on Amazon aren't compatible with it. It's really an obsolete camera.

It looks like you never shoot with the widest aperture you could do or I'm wrong? Is it intentionally to keep the lens at the best performance at the expense of losing a little bit of Bokeh?
@RealWorld10 күн бұрын
Good observation!:) I will leverage the extremes if needed depending on the scene, however I typically shy away from wide open on fixed lenes as I like to have a bit more focus in the overall shot:).

@RealWorld10 күн бұрын
The easiest method is to remove the SD card and use a card reader attached to a desktop or laptop. This will allow you to edit if needed and upload to wherever you like (i.e. KZbin, etc.).

Awesome, always wondered how a wifi enabled 5D MarkIV would work and seeing as I just got a brand spanking new one, I'll be setting up both the WiFi Laptop and Phone connection to see which is better for my application (Product Photos). Thanks again, very easy to understand video.

The technician who replaced my XE80 gas valve charged me $711.75.
@RealWorld10 күн бұрын
OUCH - curious to know the breakdown of cost (material vs labor)
@unusabraham459623 күн бұрын
How much did you pay for the parts and labor.
@RealWorld10 күн бұрын
I don't recall exactly but I bought the valve directly from the shop and had the technicians install it. Most valves are less than $100, and I do not recall labor although I suspect less than $200/$250 (this was a 30 min job for them (definitely less than an hour)). I respect technicians and labor cost along with fair labor rates, however I am not a fan of price gouging. It is important to note how I sourced this job. I bought the valve and sourced the labor separately using a smaller shop (licensed, insured, and qualified technicians but not associated with a large company). This will save money in the end.

The selfie video looked pretty horrendous! That's because the lens was way too close to your face and it distorted your features. Your stills were awesome, though, and I was pleasantly surprised by all the bokeh you got. What I really like is the tiny size of that thing. You were holding it like a baseball. I have a full-frame DSLR and it's a beast compared to the D5600. And the nice thing is that I can use all of my F lenses on this small body!
@RealWorld10 күн бұрын
lol - agree with the selfie video as well!:) in addition, i have used various full frame cameras with heavy lenes. when moving from a full frame body with a heavy lens to a crop body with a light lens, wow - it is refreshing!:)

1:47 You could've/should've tested that thermocouple by connecting alligator-clip type leads to the two wires, heated the other end of the thermocouple with a lighter, and watched the voltage on your multimeter [with DCV (DC Voltage) selected] to see if it changed. If the millivolts didn't start to increase on your multimeter's display, then your thermalcouple couple is the problem. You did what all of us HVAC Techs in the field call 'shooting the parts cannon' at it. 😆 Good video though, otherwise.

Hi, I have just bought one a6600, and I am confused between 18-200(used $360), 18-105 f4(used $340), 18-135(used $300). Please advise me which one should I get?
@RealWorld10 күн бұрын
Not certain if you already made the decision as I am late to respond, however I would consider going with the lens which offers the widest aperture:). Does the 18-200 offer f/2.8 all the way through (meaning you can use f/2.8 as 18 and f/2.8 at 200)? If so, I might lean towards the 18-200:). The other lenses are great as well and I suspect you will not go wrong with either.

you see the lens giving up at low light. that big f-number starts showing. you have to push your ISO to 8000, hence the noisy mushy image. that's the real trade off of a 16X zoom lens. low light performance.

Good tutorial, thanks. I didnt get all. In the last demo there is a ashadow with hss, bigger and bigger. Shadow of what?
@RealWorldАй бұрын
Glad to be of help!:) The shadow grows larger because the flash sync is not able to match the shutter speed. The max sync speed for the flash is 1/250 of a second. When I set the camera to shoot at 1/250 of second, the entire image sees the flash. When I increase the shutter speed, the flash is unable to keep pace without high speed sync enabled and the image only capture 1/250 seconds worth:).
