I have a few of these on my plex server. Some of them were part of the USA Cartoon express in the early to mid 80s. When the block aired weekday evenings on the USA Network and aired mostly Hannah Barbera shows.

Side Note: In The Amazing Chan and The Chan Clan. Charlie Chan was voiced by Asian actor Keye Luke, who, as a young actor in the 1930s, played Number One Son in several Charlie Chan movies! He played opposite Anglo actors Sidney Toler and Warner Oland who played Lt. Charlie Chan of the Honolulu Police.

I understand and agree with much of what you're saying about the need for reboots of these certain shows. However, I find it interesting that you don't mention that some of these shows have already been rebooted multiple times. For example: GI Joe: Has had numerous iterations over the years and a few live-action films. He-Man: Also has multiple reboots, including two recent ones on Netflix. One of these recent reboots, while beautifully animated, has been met with some criticism from fans due to its storyline. Beetlejuice: Recently had a live-action movie sequel. Thundercats: Had a reboot in 2011. The Smurfs: Had a live-action movie not too long ago. Inspector Gadget: Has seen multiple iterations, as well as a few live-action films. Perhaps when you re-upload this, more or less the same video again with the same shows listed, you can then add the addendums of the reboots of said shows.

Devlin had the unique distinction with the deliberate absence of the laff track...since the show is not a mystery solving comedy.

Devlin probably didnt belong on the list as weird. Chan Clan was dumb, but Hanna/Barbera was duplicating all the other band playing detective teens, Hong Kong Fooey wasn't any weirder than other anthropomorphic cartoons just dumber. The other eight were beyond weird.

The ones that really stood out for me were Hong Kong Phooey, who was voiced by the incomporable Scatman Carruthers. I ended up watching the entire series decades later and loving it for what it was. Carruthers really made an otherwise cocky and unlikeable character worth watching, and I had forgotten all about Spot's role as a child. As an adult, I couldn't help but think, "if only Spot could talk, he would probably bring HKP down a few notches". Also, I think it was Richard Dawson who voiced "Sarge" while trying to lose his British accent.

How did Mission Magic! not make this list? A class of kids and their Frizzle-esque teacher cross dimensions to help actual musician Rick Springfield (no not that one, the other one) solve people's problems in these weird realities, feels like you could've skipped a Scooby-clone for it.

🌴🦍🐘🦏 🐒🌴Tarzan Lord of The Jungle, was my favorite...styled very similarly to the Joe Kubert's, DC Comics Tarzan of the same early 70's Era...which I also adored...not just jungle animals, the episodes were inspired by some of Edgar Rice Burroughs more fantastic Tarzan novels ("Lost Jungle": Greco-Romans; Vikings; Beast men; Knights; Space Aliens; Cities of Gold and Ivory, Dinosaurs of Pellucidar; Conquistadors, Mole People; Spider people; Monkey people...} ...I remember being somewhat disappointed that his cartoon persona didn't carry his hunting knife🔪...🙈🙉🙊

I was born in 77 and saw many of these in reruns. Hanna Barberra kept chasing that Scooby Doo / The Archies dragon for the entirety of the 70s.. with every permutation of "teen ghost hunters with a talkng pet" or "teen band that solves crimes... with a talking animal". And then when in doubt, spin off another Flintstones cartoon.

If you were not born when any of these 1970s cartoons, or ANY retro material your website commentator misnomers "We forgot About", it hardly could be truthfully stated any of it was part of, or a memory from your CHILDHOOD (Saturday morning cartoons stopped 25 years ago). You cannot possibly miss, much less "forget" beloved nostalgia from 4-5 generations gone yours never experienced, much less can speak for.
