Hello Santi, I bought the Captain's Mod with all four mods and i am loving it. The quality of the prints is amazing and thanks to your instructions here on KZbin assembly was really easy. Although I have welded once in my life, your alternative method made it easy to connect the spoiler enable/disable switch. For every Airbus freak -> It's 100% worth it The only thing you should keep in mind is that the thrust lever is very stiff (almost like a real thrust leaver). So you better screw it or clamp it to your desk because if you just put it on your desk with these rubber stands it will definitely move. ~ greetings, Tristan - Germany

Impressive work! But to be honest, at this point it would be cheaper to just buy real ones. As far as i know a real button costs 16$
@santiagoluib3Ай бұрын
Thank you! But the whole point of this video is for D-I-Y and the fun of doing it plus a fully functional Korry-like button. I don't think you can buy a real Korry below US$125. That's from Korry Electornics. Some even go as high as $400+.
@memeswithoutcontext4716Ай бұрын
Well that's a valid point. Most people forget that not flying the sim is the actual hobby, it's building it. Anyway I would just use real parts, here in europe parts are relativly cheap. For example a complete APU panel is like 130$.
@santiagoluib3Ай бұрын
@@memeswithoutcontext4716 That's cool! You are lucky to have these "real parts" panels cheap in your region. Of course, if you can get the real ones for cheap, why take the hassle in building them, right? :) Cheers and happy flying!

Jes exactly! If you once flew in a full flight simulator you will never go back to something else than OEM parts :) . Sadly I dont have enogh space for a big cockpit like a 737 or A320, therefor I'm going to start building an DCS F15 mixed reality cockpit. Many happy landings! :)

@LucaFakhouriАй бұрын
Hey Santi, I just bought the switches from Aliexpress, but the contacts did not fit through the three holes of the board :-(
@santiagoluib3Ай бұрын
Hi Luca! What do you mean by not fitting the three holes? Are those the 3-pins switch variants you bought? Are the pins spaced differently (which I doubt as these switches have standard pin spacing). Is it because the pins are larger (they have holes in the middle). If so you just need to pinch the pins so they can squeeze through the circuit board holes. Please email me so we can discuss details and I can further help you :)

@santiagoluib3Ай бұрын
Hi @@inflightentertainment101 I recommend v2. :) You don't need to print/create the threads. The hole size is measured with tension such that when you screw in the ballpoints like wood screw, they "cut" their way creating threads in the process :)

I just finished the mod and congratulate SL3 for the excellent engineering. I have several thousand hours flying the 319/320 and the mod gets you close to the real thing. Most importantly it gets rid of the "toy" feeling from the throttles. I lubricated the plates with lithium grease and drove the tensioner to full. Tension feels close to the real thing now. I found that I needed to spend some time getting the grub screw just right. Too much extension and the throttle arm is pushed against the case and rubs. Too little and the grub bracket gets pushed out of the throttle arm. I think this is the best solution for these throttles. In the real airplane the throttle quadrant is much bigger and the throttles smoother. But they probably cost a million dollars. But the SL3 mod is great. Highly recommended!
@isaka.8101Ай бұрын
Update: With New A320 v2 inibuild msfs Sup15 update on xbox NOW the mod is working perfectly. I love it. The detents are nice and strong and feels like you are controlling real aircraft. Definitely increases simulation immersion. TIPS: After installing the detents mod, go to sensitivities and decrease throttle sensitivities in about half. Then go to a320 EFB and MAKE SURE to calibrate the throttle detents!
