Hair clips are such an 80’s thing. Scrunchies too. They’re just fun to wear. I understand the Stanley cups and many of the things mentioned here, but I think it’s all about the individual wearing them also.

How can you so openly keep trying to degrade a specific nationality like you do with the Russian women? It is unbelievable how you can do that. I don’t find it elegant at all!

Now I understand why my inner self always resisted following those fleeting style trends. The woman within me has always known that I embody a timeless elegance, far beyond what society expects or dictates. Proudly, an Indian 😇💫

6:10 What if your colouring really isn’t suited to gold? I have a very cool and muted complexion and gold tends to look a bit garish on me. Is silver still okay or would rose gold be a bit better?

If you do French manicure with plastic, fake nails,of course it will not be elegant. Anything fake is not elegant. But i would say ,if you're missing teeth, better get some fake ones and not too white😅

The super high heel is a sexual signal, without a doubt. But combined right, it is also an elegant sexual signal when you don't want to make things too obvious. I coach men sometimes and tell them to not make suggestions to women wearing a low heel - this is either not the time for the right woman or not the right woman. But I do disagree with the notion that "a professional" cannot be elegant or that an elegant woman cannot elegantly send a sexual invitation to a gentleman who knows those signals. But I do agree it is a signal and should be treated that way. Still, there's no need for a platform stiletto heel... Ever.

I call this internalized misogyny. Ladies reading my comment, please don't fall into the trap of self-surveillance, where women constantly monitor and modify their behavior to meet a certain label or standards, especially a word like 'elegance' is often related to characteristics like being demure, feminity, quiet, and graceful. Internalized misogyny also often leads women to police each other’s behavior, promoting "elegance" as the standard and sometimes shaming those who deviate from it, as we see in this video. If anything, this video shows a French person's self-righteousness when she equates the word elegance with French. Don't battle me with her 'French take on what elegance looks like', her title is literally '10 things elegant ladies never wear' and not 'how does a French girl view fashion across the world'. That is her brand, I guess.

Not much interest in bags but loving your videos so gave it a watch. Knowing a little about precious metals I’d have dismissed it as soon as I saw it was plated. As you said gold plating is so very thin it wears away with any regular use (“gold filled” is much, much thicker and therefore more durable) I’d imagine on a bag the gold plating will start to wear off pretty soon with the base metal showing through, cheapening the look of the bag.

That's not a 1:1 fake, and the price is also too high. You can defy find a identical one for less money. I'm not into brands, but if I was I would buy a fake one.

She is a typical example of French arrogance and smugness! What really amused me was her complaint about the New Balance sneakers and the comparison between a down jacket made for temperatures as low as -30°C and a coat with a thin vest lining.

Thailand is a lesson in class. The poorest people are composed, self restrained, polite, courteous, graceful, they dont argue, dont lose their temper, care about people and they smile. All that, and even when somebody is being unreasonable and awful to them.

I think French Manicure is incredibly elegant, like you said, only if it’s not a big white line.. I believe, it’s clean, simple and looks natural and timeless. Other than that, I can understand everything else 😊

They look like a stanley cup on the tip of a finger to me. So plastic and so noticeable. I didn't always think that though, I wore them for a really long time but then one day, they just started to look weird. I'm specifically talking about acrylic nails which is what she showed in her video. If someone has nice natural nails, maybe it looks less clunky and fake.

I think you're right about cosmetics. This is one case where less IS more. Nothing is more pathetic than a 75-year-old woman trying to copy the latest Vogue cover. We're not 18 any more. Enhance your natural beauty...don't cover it with spackle.

It was interesting to hear your personal point of view how people concider beauty culture wise. This video makes me want to visit France :) I love the idea of enhancing our individual features and the principal „less is more”. I’m with you, I get it and I totally like it 😻 it is funny however to see how some people got irritated. Actually it means to me that they felt inelegant in some way. Lots of love to everyone regardless what they want to do with their outfit, just be your true and bold self. Because elegance to me is unfeigned.
