nice build what is that finishing process and items used for this ? is it pink grain filler then you add some kind of stain ? is it water based or ? what exactly thanks

In North America, Zinsser Seal Coat is de-waxed shellac, and is indeed compatible with just about any finish.

You need to sharpen your plane. The whole bench is shaking. The end result is nice tho.

Just wanted to say nice job. That said and I'm surprised I didn't see it mentioned - I understand being anxious at times or caught up in the flow of the process, but you really want to show that table saw some respect. It will absolutely take a finger, or more, quicker than you can blink. Just the thought of losing or severely damaging a finger has always made me cringe. That has kept all ten digits intact the last 35+ yrs since I started. Wouldn't want you or anyone else having to move forward missing a couple of very valuable friends. For anyone just getting into this stuff, invest some time in basic tool setup and safety. Carry on brother 👍

Saved me from depression in 2008 I finally decided to get on my bike and enjoy it after several months of lying in bed going on a downward spiral. Your motorcycle will always pick you up when you’re down. Riding definitely distracted me and gave me confidence to move forward. I never looked back 💙🙏🏻

this touched my heart and made me cry. i have been riding for 10 years, i totalled 1 motorcycle and sold the next one. i bought a decent car but for 2+ years that i'm not riding, every day i feel a have blank inside me, that i didn't do something. i want to start riding again, anything on 2 wheels with 20+hp and 250+cc. the feeling you have is from outer space: "you are free in a blink of an eye, all problems are disappearing the time you ride". i will fight and start riding again! for all motorcyclists out there: ride safe and enjoy every minute riding!!! 🙂🏍🥇🏆🏁

Nice build, only thing i would say is i dont like seeing frets hammered in with that amount of force, it can deform the metal. I do prefer to press them in wherever possible

My depression\anxiety\anger starts to go away as I am gearing up for the ride. As I make the walk to the garage, all my focus goes to the ride I am about to take. Once I'm on the bike and out the drive way, I am 100% committed to the ride and other thoughts just do not have the same impact. For the next few minutes or hours, my mind is captured, on my self and my ride. I have taken a mental break and am better now. Even with all the noise that goes on when you ride, I can hear myself breathe! Only us bikers will understand.

Just remember it’s one down the rest up, my fellow riders keep your head up plz. Trust even if we don’t know each other I’d rather hear your voice than hear your family and friends lost you. Nothing wrong with venting brothers and sisters. Fr I struggle everyday myself. It’s one punch at a time one round at a time. Just keep going for yourself if not anything else.

A really GREAT short video that I saved in my Motorcycles folder. Completely in tune with how I feel. Sometimes I feel like the buddy who called to invite his friend for a ride. Sometimes I am the motorcyclist who, for some reason, life throws a curveball at, and is feeling down about something. Awesome job filming this sentiment. Live long, ride long my brothers.

I read one of your comments below about intonation, that you don't care for the bridge on your build....I have a Gibson LP DC, single pkup, and I got for Christmas in 2022, a Hipshot Baby Grand Guitar Bridge. The name sounds like what it looks like, a Baby Grand piano, the shape of the bridge. Mine works great, and really cool looking, plus, much better for palm muting, more surface area in other words. I'd post a link, not sure if youtube would like that, but google that bridge, you'll see it. They are pricey, but I think well worth it. Mine intonated great. You're build looks great man, really nice, and sounds great!!

Thank you, I have seen the baby grand bridges before, not majorly keen on the look. I dont mind the intonation not being perfect, that is a bit of the charm for me on these vintage designs, that being said it would be great to at least see how its plays/sounds being setup perfectly. I will have a look at the dimensions on the bridge as it may not be an option without replacing the studs etc
@dalesmyth7398
@dalesmyth7398 7 ай бұрын
I wanted the Baby Grand at first for 1 reason...easier to palm mute the strings. The small bridge on my Gibson didn't have enough meat on it for me. Once I got it, it grew on me quick. Hipshot makes other bridges that intonate if you don't care for the look of the Baby Grand. If I had 1 gripe, and it's not much of one, once my new bridge was in place, it kinda cocks up just a bit, with string tension. It's not affected anything at all. I saw some on videos, use a washer under the Baby Grand set up...and it worked fine. I just never saw the need in it. My strings are very low, and I run 8 ga. strings, no buzzing or fretting out at all.@@MosalGuitars

My 2 cents, I would use original Titebond instead of Titebond 2. TB-2 glue joints can creep after while. Especially with something that has constant tension on it.
