Any1 know if I need to apply when the grass is dry? I understand no watering after application for 2 days. But should I turn off sprinklers a day or 2 b4 application letting grass dry?

I look at your and lawn and see zero natural plants so you use toxic pesticides and fertilizers. And watering your lawn is a waste of water. If you had a natural lawn it would need less water and the plants in your lawn would feed the wildlife. Your lawn is polluting our water and wasting water. My lawn stays green longer than my neighbors and I never water use natural fertilizer and let natural plants grow in my lawn. All the stuff this guy does in the video is a waste of time.

I don't use spray. If it's granules, its better.

I would recommend a soil test at least every 2 years with all that phosphate you are adding.

The backflow preventer will also need to be winterized and it's irrigation side ball valve closed before blowing out the system. You can expand a small compressor's capacity by adding a portable air tank, extra line, plus the irrigation system line holds some capacity. After pressurizing - open 1 zone at a time, wait for the system to re-pressurize and repeat for the next zone.

Outstanding and great information young man. All of the fertilizers I have used from Home Depot and Lowes works very well. The key for me to prevent and kill weeds and grassy weeds was doing it right time.

Get a wet vacuum open the blowout port, remove 2nd sprinkler head to allow air into the zone. Then suck the water down out of each sprinkler head after a few tries you get the hang of it. You can check random sprinkler heads in the zone to see if the water has evacuated below the front line. You don't even need a compressor use a wetvac, a 12.0 ridgid vac sucks 144 cfm. Your fucking welcome.

My TrueCut just poo pooed out on me, and before that I had a Briggs & Stratton. This time I'm getting a California Trimmer 20-in Standard Classic with the Honda engine.
