Great reaction Dom! Those heels lol... Holy crap! Prince got hooked on pain killers due to his back problems from dancing in all those high heeled shoes. Hope she takes better care. Drummer is quite incredible. You're right about that. Really good riffs!!! Love to little ones! 🍻🤟👏🍀🐱

Haruna is always smiling, having fun playing drums but also a very impressive virtuoso. Especially her cymbal work is unparalleled.

They are remarkable. I’ve seen them live in Milan, Italy this past summer and it was THE best concert experience of my life, equal only to my first ever Dream Theater concert in Athens at Lycabetus Theater. These girls encapsulate flawless perfection. Greetings from Greece!

If you enjoy effortless mastery you should check out their sisters in music BAND-MAID, they are more "HARD ROCK", but they are on the same level as Lovebites, i would recommend their song HATE? live, from their 10 year anniversary tour at Yokohama Arena, good reaction, Rock on 🤘🤘

Amazing performance through the start to finish‼️ This song is Miyako-san’s confident work. But their producer almost rejected the song because it was too extreme. The result is as you can see.

Haha, back in 2004 we were at Leighton-Barracks in Würzburg while doing socalled "US Guard" as members of german armed forces (Bundeswehr). And one morning we had breakfeast with plenty of US serviceman at the cafeteria there. and a hand full of other countries like UK or Netherlands, too. And then Eric Prydz' 'Call on me' was on a huge screen there. And literally everyone stopped chewing, eating and chatting and the whole room (maybe about 100 noses) sticked on the screen 😆 and yes, even the US servicewomen, of course xD What an image. It is burned into my memory.😆 And yes, 'Pump It' reminds me of that. For whatever reason 😆

This concert is the ultimate demonstration of the absolute absurdity of the “rules” enforced during Covid. The crowd had to stand a certain distance away from each other. They had to wear masks. They were not allowed to shout. Meanwhile the band are maskless and free to wander around the stage. Oh, and sing. Clever thing that Covid. It distinguishes between breathing, singing and shouting. Sorry, I just had to, it’s been almost four years and I’ve never said anything about it on reactions before now but really….were the “authorities” actually serious?

You have to watch Soldier Stands Solidarity live. I have seen Lovebites twice live. In Osaka and Fukuoka. They were phenomenal live. Probably the single best live band I've ever seen.

Because the concert was held during the COVID-19 pandemic, there were restrictions such as limiting the number of people allowed in and not letting people shout. The black-haired guitarist was pregnant. The drummer was HARUNA, and her live performance of "Soldier Stands Solitarily" is recommended. All of the girls are multi-instrumentalists with a wide range of unique talents, including concert-level pianists, classical ballet dancers, and body fitness rankers.

As others have pointed out, the main reason why the audience is not making noise at this concert is the pandemic. However, I think Japanese audiences tend not to like mush pits in the first place. Japanese audiences consider communication between themselves and the musicians to be the most important thing. In other words, I think many people want to concentrate on the voices (singing) and sounds (performance) of the musicians, so they find the mush pits, where people make noise in the audience seats, to be a nuisance. ---------- from Nippon *This text was translated from Japanese to English using Google Translate. I hope that my intention is conveyed correctly.
My take after 50+ years of listening to metal... LOVEBITES is my all-time favorite band. I've only named 3 bands my favorite since I heard Led Zeppelin in 1971. It wasn't until 2001 when Opeth took the top spot. In 2021, LOVEBITES took the throne, and I believe they will be my last favorite. Miyako and Midori, IMO, are the greatest dual lead guitarists ever. Miyako is my all-time favorite musician. Before her, it was Keith Emerson from ELP for 50 years.

That’s a great comment! I tried translating it into English! @AkikoYama-ys2zg I am Japanese. Japanese women have historically had a very free and creative mindset, shaping culture for centuries. As seen in works like The Pillow Book by Sei Shonagon, Japanese women have been writing long-form novels and essays for over a thousand years. Just like those pioneering women, LOVEBITES embodies the essence of Japanese femininity-both “beautiful and cute”-while passionately creating, composing, and performing their own metal music. They stay true to classic metal while blending in their unique style, crafting an entirely new “LOVEBITES world.” Japan is also the only country in Asia where rock and metal have taken root as deeply as in Western nations. Thanks to the free and open-minded nature of Japanese women, as well as an environment where they can pursue what they love without barriers, all-female bands have flourished for over 40 years. However, the reach of metal music remains somewhat limited. That’s why I am truly grateful to people like you, from the very cultures that created rock and metal, for recognizing their brilliance and helping to spread their music. Thank you so much.
