Mexican carry is the most hidden way to carry and makes safer

I’ve been carrying a gen3 g19 for over 22 years now. I don’t think the newer guns offer me any benefits over my gen3.

I carry a G19 gen 3 on duty And a G19 or G26 gen 5 for personal use because I don’t like the finger grooves on the gen 3

Since u asked😊 My edc for the past almost 25years now is 38special. But,ive carried 22wmr as edc before and would do it again and feel comfortable 💯 I live in the suburbs at the moment and there are a gazillion kids running around and im worried about over penetration for home defense. So i opted for my winchester 9422 22lr stagger loaded with cci 40gr solids and cci stingers 32gr. I figured 16 of them in rapid succession is going to stop any intruder ,even drugged up. Enough to get away at least. But honestly i have ny 38 still for back up. But i still thonk peppering a intruder with 22lr rounds,up close from a rifle will stop them without a doubt! I carry a heritage rough rider 22lr on my trapline, i use super x,stingers and yellow jackets...if itll put down hogs and coyote, itll put down a 2 legged varmit!!!😊😊 My inly problem with it for a edc is to make sure to use a revolver!! No autos,because of primer falures! Just pull the trigger again. That is my only problem with wwkr for edc! Great vid😊😊😊😊

I carry a Smith & Wesson m and p 22lr Compact. My shot placement is head over heels better. I’m 70 years old and this gun feels far better than any others, no hand pain from arthritis!!!!

Ofcourse gen 3 glock is the best gen because it's proven to be the most reliable of all. Most aftermarket parts available and the single recoil spring is also my favorite to use.
@richardavery22447 күн бұрын
Finally, here is engineering suggestion 1. Put a belt clip on the trigger guard and lengthen the rope. 2. Make sure the clip is made out of steel 3. Put a round silver dollar size sweat guard on the inside next to the body. I wouldn’t trust it

How in hell do you use a trigger guard holster ?
@richardavery22447 күн бұрын
The major drawback in your video is how the hell do you actually use a trigger guard holster? All the dumb as… videos on UTube nobody has yet to demonstrate the use of a clip holster or a trigger guard holster!😮😮😮 this is sad maybe some people shouldn’t do videos!

Having years of law enforcement experience, I am very comfortable with and have muscle memory specific to the Glock. ALSO as an Alaskan that loves the outdoors, I have carried the Glock 20 forever. Still, as my son started looking into a 10mm, I took an entirely fresh look at the market. I came to the same conclusion, with Springfield. The trigger is just smooth and sweet. I still have my Glock 20, but admittedly, I'm jealous of his Springfield.

A bunch of these ignorants don't care about printing. You should. For 1. You need the element of surprise and tactical advantage. 2. Printing makes you a target for gun theft. And 3. Printing can cause an escalation because a potential threat will shoot first if they know you are armed, then try claiming self-defense (This happened in Florida). As a veteran who has been carrying for ages, don't be stupid. This is common sense.

I would consider TX22 as conceal carry. I would feel confident as long as I'm using Interceptors, CCI STINGERS, or Federal Punch. I shot 100s rounds with them and had good luck. Buy ammo and train hitting vitals.

If you are a right-handed shooter with average size hands, the gen. 3 works perfectly. The gen. 4 or 5 will be no major upgrade. If you are a lefty or have small hands, gen. 5 is way better.

I bought my TX22 last year and I think it’s great. I bought it for varmint control. For home defense I would rather have a twenty-two round clip of .22LR than a ten round clip of 9mm.

This has turned into a lively discussion so I'll add what I know. Gen 4 Glocks came out during 2009 and on quick look I liked the new more aggressive checkering and form factor of the grip as well as the new double recoil spring but that's where the positives ended IMO. The initial run of the 9mm Gen 4's used the same recoil spring as the 40/357 an coincidently a few ammo manufacturers lowered their velocities on Range type ammo at that time which led to malfunctions, Glock responded by making a weaker version of the spring for 9mm versions to fix this problem which in my opinion was more of a fault of the amo manufacturers which I researched at the time and found that SAAMI ammo specs didn;t include Minimum pressures only Maximum pressures so due to that lack the Swill some manufacturers were loading to cut costs were actually within this vague 'spec'. Then Gen 4 introduced MIM parts (locking block, striker, extractor and a few small parts). Immediately there were problems reported by a few LE agencies reporting broken and chipped strikers (4 instances in my local SO). Also many reported these MIM extractors were throwing brass erraticly. There have been reports of cracked locking blocks which I didn't verify but seemed to fit the pattern of what was going on with other parts. Other manufacturers including s&w and Sig also had issues with MIM parts which was met with nonsensical rhetoric such as failure rates meeting 'Industry Standards', well WHO sets the industry standards ? An article I read indicated MIM parts were made for about 50% the cost of CNC milled parts and required little to no hand fitting. It seemed the manufacturers found a cost cutting method and were unwilling to give this cheaper process up. Manufacturer Dan Wesson created a You Tube video still available 'Machined Parts vs MIM Parts' 5 years ago. Don't know if this still the case or if they have taken the MIM KoolAid as after purchasing one of their products about 2 years ago messaged them to find out if their NO MIM in their guns was still valid or not but for some reason received NO response. So yeah far as Glock it's older Gen 3 for me (Gen 3 Still in production) but be aware those manufactured after 2009 likely have these MIM parts, there was some crossover at the transition as Glock still had the milled parts on hand for a while and found there way into some Gen 4 models. (Most of the MIM vs Milled parts are interchangeable other than the locking block).

Thank you for your test of the 4-inch barrel -- I have the NAA 1860 "Earl" with a 4-inch barrel and always wondered how it would do in a gel test. Every video I've seen previously has been with the NAA ~2-inch barrels. The info about the Hornady ammo was also appreciated.

I hate grip safetys but that double reset trigger is a deal breaker for me. Switching back and forth between firearms with "normal" triggers is gonna throw off my muscle memory like hell and Id have to change my training just for that firearm and fuxk up my skills on my others. I really want to sw10mm and I think im gonna risk it and tey to get a newer model hopefully with the bugs worked out. If not Ill send it to Monsoon Tactical and let them work magic

Yeah blah blah blah. Had that one sold it off cause the grip wasn’t to my liking. Shot fine. Never had the sig.Did see the draw, nothing new. Comfortable grip, huge slide. Anyway you should get the one that fits you best. None are that much better than the rest internals aren’t that much different in the striker fired guns. The S&W 2.0 10 mm fits me best so I’ll say that’s the better one? No just fits me best

I hope they fixed the bottom lip coming loose after going through a magazine or two. Local shop confirmed the issue, however dealing with Springfield was frustrating and the gun had to go back and forth 3 times before they finally sent replacement. Took half a year I think...not impressed...
