Thanks for the hard work on the video. Nice tips and very helpful! One comment, DO NOT cut/trim the tab with wire cutters or dikes. The plastic is very brittle and will crack....like mine did. I managed to plastic weld it and put things back together even though my crack ran right across the mating surface of the o-ring. I'd suggest using a hot knife. Thanks again.

2016 Jeep Patriot had the same exact issue - two of the relays had pins that corroded off. I am thinking of making a video using metal roof flashing to reroute the water away from the relay box.

VCM tuner is the biggest scam in the auto industry, you are buying hard wired junk from someones garage and putting into a perfectly good engine to lose gas milage

I used a 3/8 extension, HF Pittsburgh brand with the socket lock. Just stuck the female end of the extension and pried it sideways and the seal popped right out. Couldn’t be any easier

Keep in mind, if you have the Earthdreams and later V6, with a plastic intake manifold, you don't need to do this.

Thanks for this video. I've been thinking of doing this to my 2013 oddy. So far I don't have any VCM issues after 160K miles as I do a lot of stop and go city driving and ECO mode barely engages. However, I am still considering doing this.

Please someone help, I installed this into my wife’s 2013 V6 3.5L Honda Pilot. Works great but she gets like a long lasting up to 1 minute, other times less sounds like a little siren in the truck? I’ve been looking online everywhere and cannot find a solution. Everything is good. Everything is running perfectly fine. It’s just that she gets this weird siren sound at least once a day when she’s driving sometimes more than once. If anyone knows where the sound boxes are located that would be great. It is not, the seatbelt sound by the way. It sounds very different. It’s like a low tone siren that becomes very annoying. Please help if you know anything or where the sound points are that I can start disconnecting these little sound boxes, thank you.

Just did this same repair. I popped the white cover off and pulled the pin out. Relay was $38 from O’Reily. Jeep dealership was going to charge $62 for the OEM part. Brought my mothers car back to life.
