Had a guy like this the other week. He claimed all the other gods were fake. So I pointed out most of them make the same claim about his god. He claimed his was older, so I listed deities worshipped before yahweh. He this claimed his god was the knky one with a Bible... so I listed off holy texts of other religions and when they were written. He gave up not long after that, though he did admit he didn't know all those things about other religions

One point regarding voter's rights in the US not everyone is eligible to vote and many people of voting age are denied the right to vote. Many people with mental health issues are denied the right to vote in many states. Voter's ID requirements make it hard or even impossible for lower income people to vote. About 6 million (2%) of the population are denied the right to vote due to felony conviction (this can be DUI, public drunkenness, possession of drugs, disorderly conduct etc.) It's one of the reasons such otherwise minor crimes carry harsh penalties because they disproprtionally target minority and poor groups and thus remove their right to vote.

The closest story deals with Osiris, but Horus is not credited with raising anyone from the dead in ancient Egyptian texts. The Osiris story involves Isis reviving Osiris temporarily, but this is more of a mythical cycle of death and rebirth than an actual resurrection. Your other comparisons are wrong as well... you should do research before publicy stating these things.

It's so interesting to see them change their opinions on modesty in this condensed way and comparing that with my own growing obsession with 1890s fashion. I feel comfortable in it because I can choose of how my silhouette looks, without worrying anout how my body looks. I have lost and gained about 12 kg over the last year, due to discovering some fun food intolerances, and my handmade clothes still fit me. By their standards, I would probably be dressed very modestly. But the difference is, that I choose that fashion out of my own interest, and I'm not expecting anyone to follow me. It's also not about appearing modest, but the perks of having ginormous pockets, choosing the fabric and fit I really love, and the joy of crafting things with my own two hands. And I still will wear my tight work out clothes, my crop tops and short dresses when I want to. In a way, girl defined and I started on strictly opposite positions, when you look at the clothes only, and sort of walked towards another, and met at the opposite position. Not entirely, but somewhat. But I'm really excited to see them getting more mellow in their stance on modesty. Clothes shouldn't please others, they are deeply personal and should please yourself. In terms of functionality, comfort and, yes, style. And having clothes that check all three boxes can give you such a boost in energy and joy. It's a joy I seriously underestimated before I started making my own stuff. I just hope this journey isn't over yet for them. We've been on this one for such a long time now, and I'm truly excited to see were they'll go. Haven't been in a long time, and never thought I'd say that about Girl Defined.

As a Christian a lot of points to make, A) I actually heavily agree with your take on how churches get kids to evangelize. While Evangelism is part of being a Christian it’s literally called the great commission, church’s push on kids to do so is often so poorly explained and handled that it gives kids and the kids they interact with major issues. They do not explain how to do it respectfully, they do not explain boundaries or how true conversion is the persons choice not the kids job to accomplish, they also do not emphasize that before almost any evangelism should happen that the first people who should be preached to are themselves, which means they need to study the Bible and what it says before they should preach it. All of this and more gave me issues as a kid and gave many of the people I knew issues. B) There was and never had been a law or ideal about the separation of church and state it was a quote from Thomas Jefferson about how the government cannot establish a federal or state religion which is why we have the right to the freedom of religion. That doesn’t mean religion cannot be involved in government merely that a belief system cannot be enforced by the government. C) I’m very grateful that Teachers are not allowed to promote a religion or political leaning, no matter how often teachers have gotten away with it on any spectrum of the political compass, it is not allowed. However, elected officials who promote it seems fine since they are elected, they promote the things they care about at their own peril or success, if an elected official were to promote something like a day to meditate as a Buddhist in school I might not agree with it, but there is no force, and they promote these things at their own risk. If the voters don’t like it they won’t vote them in again but if Kentucky is happy with a Bible pusher and don’t mind a worse education system they can choose that.
