Melo could’ve won a ring but he stop conditioning his body and had to much ego to flourish that talent. He stayed way to mf long on the Knick due to the attention but he shouldve been on a better tram

I really think George Karl was an overrated coach. Iverson and Melo were walking buckets Kleiza was a killer based off this game. Camby and Martin are all you can really hope for out of a pair of bigs. Also no one on that team had an ego(say what you want about Melo). A.I. saw Kleiza eating and just kept giving him the ball. George shouldve figured this one out

At this point, the Spurs may be justifiably perceived as a boring team; however, when they play ball, it's as majestic as it can honestly get once you invest your time in their 'everything.' From their game, down to the chemistry of their team.

21 years old. If the lakers didn't have him play with a bunch of scrubs in his prime, he would have collected 2 more rings before his 2009-2010 rings.

Kobe was Jordan Zero, and i loved every minute i got to watch him play. Goes to show that it wasn't just Shaq, but the dynamic duo of Shaq and Kobe. Wish they could have stayed together 3-4 more years..

The amount of times Shaq fouled out in the playoffs + finals is so overlooked.. Kobe had to close games out by himself during these championships runs can people still disrespect Kobe to this day... Such a shame.

Gen z kids saying Duncan is better than kobe.. Kobe is 4-1 against Duncan in the playoffs series in the 2000s. Duncan is Kobe's son. Duncan was literally torched in this game.

And people say "shaq carried Kobe"..... Against prime Duncan, Prime Parker, Prime Manu, prime bruce Bowen, Kobe averaged 29 (while gasol and odom COMBINE for only 25 ppg this series)..... Kobe single handedly dominated Duncan/Spurs WITH and WITHOUT Shaq. Stop the hate. Kobe > duncan.

Bro people refuse to watch the games and still say "Shaq carried Kobe".... The amount of space Kobe creates to shaq in transition, off the ball. trple teamed at times, it only helps Shaq. Kobe and Shaq were just as important for one another. Literally Batman and Superman. There was no robin.
