Before playing SETI i would‘ve chosen Unconscious Mind as Nr. 1 aswell. But i like SETI slightly better. 2 awesome games.

If it matters, the Description notes omits Amy’s #9 label with Maggie’s #1 (Unconscious Mind); the video shows it so likely doesn’t matter. Another great video from this channel, so thank you. Twice now, I’ve gone through the lengthy process of setting up Unconscious Mind to play solo, and BOTH TIMES, right when I’m about to start… I get a time sensitive work email I have to deal with, after which, it’s like… 11pm and I have to pack everything back up again and go to bed. Lol. …One day, I’ll get it played 😅

I really wanted to love wingspan, but find it just alright. I kind of have the same feeling about wyrmspan but am not sure about pulling the trigger on it. I really need to figure out selling some games before getting a new one though.

I’ve played Imperium: Horizons solo 11 times this year, but all in the “training mode.” It’s fun for exploring the civilizations without the overhead/competition of the bot.

I love that you have in-depth conversations about your thoughts on the games... the analysis is always so interesting especially when different elements hit differently for others.

@@ThinkerThemer Haha our brains work very differently (she’s way smarter), but we have similarities for sure. I’ve always known that I need all game actions to directly reflect the theme, and I’ve learned that I REALLY need games to be tight (not fiddly). She LOVES all things logic and deduction, but most importantly, will only play games that are aesthetically beautiful and have an interesting theme (extra points for super cute stuff). We just played Search For Planet X last night for the first time, and needless to say, she had the time of her life.
