I know no one cares but I still hate how the cylinder's story doesn't make any sense, if we invented this thing and it ate us why does it have a model T monster? did we invent the cylinder in 1971? People would have modern cars in their memories and the machine would make it's minions out of those, the art clashes with the story it's trying to tell because there's no reason for the minions to look like they do, the machine has no desire for aesthetics so why aren't it's minions just bricks of metal with guns? The art is telling me one thing, that the monsters are part human somehow but the game is telling me that these are just constructs made by the machine, which should have no sentimental value for the human form even if it does hold their collective memories, collective memories that should have more teslas than model Ts
