dkc and dkc2 are already very close to each other. For me the two best games in the series.

I have another theory:so the diver like inactive at the start of the game and like getting thrown away into the ocean looks like mechanical pyramids thrown us this can be seen at the beginning of the game, we see the mechanical pyramids in the sky.that why mechanical pyramids is in the sky and there is also in the ocean

I ended up getting Hero of the Wild for my first playthrough and I agree with the reasoning you proposed for why Nintendo would make the King of Calamity ending a let down. Overall, good video.

I would like to see a whole playlist of the multiple ending analysis series you've got going on. It's a great concept that noone else has dived into so I could see you tapping into a solid niche and getting alot of success from capitalizing on it.

You notice aswell, even the photo you see of you and Julia, her face is covered by the camera, I think you don’t see anyone’s face because it’s showing that Henry knew about his problems and felt so deeply about them he couldn’t look anyone in the face, which is why he never actually sees anyone’s face(how many marks did I get?)

TLDR: Autism rant and or a different theory involving colonization. Ngl, when I first played I thought it was more of a colonization story-- Not to discredit the one in this video! I loved it and enjoyed the content, everything was well supported and thought through. The only reason why I thought this was because of the different designs of the "you" on the ancient wall like at 5:26 compared to the "you" you move. Does that make sense? Anywho-- I thought the playable character was maybe a descendant or a hybrid of the ancient peoples and the new robitc ones (hence the ocean spirit thing in its chest being like a inner connection to the old ways). and realizing what the ancestors did and sought to break those traditions/opressive and restricting officiated zones (the triangles) and reinstating the natural way of the land prior to settlement. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

A bit late to this party but I’ve only just considered using a switch for emulation. MAME in particular. Utilized an old optiplex pc for my set up but I love the idea of having everything on a switch. Are you using Retro Arch? Seems to be the go to when emulating on a switch. Not a fan when experimented last yr with this program but if it’s the most simple way of achieving switch emulation I’ll give it another go.

One of the weirdest things is that it feels as if Delilah never really cared and was lying because in the game at some point you will be radioing Delilah and she will pause and she talks to someone different saying stuff like "no i dont think he knows" almost as if she knew a lot of things before we found them out

Every time we hope for a positive and peaceful ending in a movie or game, we become deeply engrossed in the story to the point where we forget that it's far from reality. Real life doesn't always have a happy ending. The creators have done a great job by depicting endings that push us toward reality and show us what actually happens in real life. You can't simply escape from life's challenges.

Honestly, it being short has it's pros and cons, well only 1 pro, the fact that it's short makes it so appealing to play through it without taking days to finish it. However on the other hand, the con is the fact that it's short! What an oxymoron...

Just played the Beginner's Guide, and the question of whether Coda is real or not is irrelevant to the brilliance of this game (or more accurately, experience). This is art. This is art that talks about what art is or is not, and probably has introduced concepts about art that many gamers are not aware of. Such as 'death of the author' - that what the author intended in a piece of art is separate from the art itself. Art can take on meanings for people that were never the intention of the author, and that can be powerful. Davey takes on the role of the 'unreliable narrator' in this, and while he seems 100% trustworthy at the beginning, Coda is clearly angry with Davey for justifiable reasons (lying and stealing), and Davey simply won't allow himself to understand it. There would really be no way to make this piece of art, which says what it does, and have Coda be a real person. Enjoy this art for what it is, and it's invitation to think about art, and the messiness of human relationships and emotions. The funny thing is that the character of Coda understands this.

This game had some of the greatest dialogue in a indie game ! The ending wasn’t a thrilling one , but for most people life doesn’t end up with a fantasy type ending ! The ending really fit for someone dealing with his internal struggles ! And how sometimes we find ways to deal with our problems alone , and how some other people reach out for others in their time of need ! This game really symbolizes the everyday lives of many of us out there !
