check out this gem, I would guess it is a deep cut/OHW...Never heard of this group/Song and it is FAR OUT MAN! I mean yeah of course there is music I never heard of...and it is not in my wheelhouse, my forte is 50's 60's 70's & 80's New gospel, Funk, Motown and Funk ( Not Old Skool )

My young high-school self singing this song back in the 80's VS my old achy jaded self frustrated about the course of human history... Still a catchy tune with relevant lyrics though.

This is one of those songs where I like the verses better than the chorus. Stunningly beautiful & melodic. Just listened to this tune back to back with ELO's Help Yourself from 2019 and Stranger (1983). Great match! R.i P. Karl Wallinger

so thankful that i got to see you sing and play guitar & piano LIVE! - World Party LIVE! & also The Waterboys! I'll forever be pissed at myself for not recognizing you when i went out for a smoke. When you took the stage that night i was like - oh man! i could've HUGGED Karl? and said THANK YOU! But like the kind of gent you were - you NEVER once mentioned who you were.

GEE , I wonder why there is NOTHING BUT TRUMP SATIRE but no REAL DEMOCRAT BIDEN FUCK-UPS like the loss of 13 soldiers, or the lies, death, drugs and destruction at the “safe closed border”! YOU “LIBERALS” ie MARXISTS DESTROY THEN BLAME THE OTHER SIDE. RIGHT OUT OF THE SAUL ALINSKY BIBLE. YOU ARE SUCH HYPOCRITES AND YOU HAVE NO SHAME! Just TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP……. you smell.

Now? Meaning? People say that what we are all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're seeking. I think that what we're seeking is an experience of being alive: The experience of eternity in the here & now is the function of life. -Joseph Campbell, American mythologist, writer and lecturer, best known for his work in comparative mythology and comparative religion.
