Queen were better than any group together. Without each other they were at day one looking for magic that is very hard to find. Freddie was gay so inevitably flamboyant and brought a different energy physically on stage. Brian was the full package with a giutar in his hand and also a top contributor to most queen songs. He didnt invent any of his skills with a guitar but he knew every style or trick there was and did them all on a top level. Lyrics and input came from most in the band. You had roger taylor who was plenty competent on drums but had an amazing high note who also had a major part in the song writing of many queen songs. John deacon also had a good deal of input into many songs produced by queen but was the least active of all members. Fact is they all combined together to make magic. Without obstruction and yes people the band excelled. Best band ever. Freddie best front man ever. Imo brian could play in any modern band with his skills. Roger was a key player and highly skilled in song writing. Deacon was the weak link creatively but i like to think he was the calm when the storm came in. Queen forever. See you boys at my funeral xxxx

The had rehearsed it all. It worked well because they had practiced what samples of songs & their progressions to the next song well before the time of the gig. Queen back in their early days always played a medley, which they called "Play The Hits" & indeed this is exactly that. The Wembley performance was not just an off the bat by chance performance, they rehearsed it and it was all planned, there was no adlibs, Queen as a group were the consummate professionals.

From the words of Jim himself, he did tell Freddie he had HIV. But he told Freddie not to worry because Freddie was the one that was currently sick and Jim knew the risks.

My sincere respect to JD. His decision to retire from Queen after FM’s death is most admirable and beautiful, in my view.

A friend of him said he went to some gay partys in new york. Once he went there with him, it was in a secret basement and in there were men with make up on and chained up. His friend believes this is the place where he most likely got infected with hiv

False info lol Tim wasn't the bassist in Queen. Smile, but he left to join a band Humpy Bong. There were three other bass players before John. Doug Bogie , Mike Grose and Barry Mitchell. John also didn't leave music all together, he advised on bo-rhap film, and produces his son's band.

Anyone remember gay culture back then🤔,….hmmmmm? When it wasn’t weaponized, made a repulsive agenda, and forced down everyone’s throat as if gays were being beat in the streets everyday and oppressed like slaves in the 17 and 1800’s. Remember when you could just be gay and leave it at that vs the bs over kill it is today?

I was in my young teens during the Band Aid/Live Aid phenomena so was naturally into the more “current” musicians but became a huge fan of Queen during their incredible performance and was amazed at how a person, devoid of any fancy effects or spectacle was somehow able to dominate a massive stage based solely on their energy, enthusiasm and passion.

I call FOUL ON YOU!! Freddie Mercury smoked Marijuana and hashish and snorted cocaine. FREDDIE WAS NEVER AN INTRAVENOUS DRUG USER! Why show a spoon and needle indicating heroin use?! That was not cool and an insult to Freddie Mercury. Although I agree that film was HORRIBLE and for a LOT more reasons then covered here.

You haters need to lay off of Adam. Freddie’s music is earning more and more fans because of Adam!! Do you think that Freddie wants to be forgotten? You & I will never forget. But the younger generation would most likely never know who Freddie was. Sure they might hear a song in a (Wayne’s World). But after…they won’t care. Adam has brought so many people to hear about a man who was a genius in music. I think that’s a good thing. I think Freddie would agree. So just back off of Adam 🤬🤬

You’re a putz‼️🤬 You need to put a disclaimer in the title or description that says “📌This story is FICTIONAL. I’m too lazy to do any research, so I make it up as I go along” “..,the very qualities they prized in John, would later drive a wedge between him and the rest of Queen, CAUSING John to leave the group at the hight of their fame.” That’s not what happened. Every Queen fan knows that John did not want to continue without Freddie. John left because Freddie died. Then you contradict yourself by telling the real story. WTF? Do you not know how to edit? Or are you just keeping the viewer watching. My issue with telling lies is that “kids” that are just now discovering Queen, and want to learn about the original Queen, you’re lying to them. Why? 📍You want us to watch another of your videos? Why would I want to watch any of your videos? You make things up as you go along. You’re a liar. 🤬🤥

Ummmmmm, you're wrong. Queen released the album The Works, and toured that album in 1984-1985. They had just come off the tour 3 months prior and were taking a break. The movie got ALOT of things wrong.

lol um ok I’ll be the one to say it……it is more prevalent in the gay community. ALOT more prevalent. Just ask my gay hiv positive brother who lives in New York. He told me hiv positive gay men are literally EVERYWHERE especially in NY. You can go ahead, be politically correct all you want but it doesn’t change the obvious fact that it does hit gay men a lot more than heterosexuals. I mean all you have to do is look at the men in the prep commercials you see ALL THE TIME now. All those guys in those commercials are blatantly gay they got that fake gay lisp going and everything😂

Hi, you have a few facts incorrect here. Queen had released a hit album The Works in 1984 and had just finished a year long world tour a month before Live Aid. It wasn't a comeback after the failure of Hot Space back in 1982, the success of The Works had already happened, with numerous hit singles in the year before Live Aid.

Also Roger Taylor used Paiste cymbals up through 1982. Didn’t use Zildjian until 1984 and went back to Paiste for a year in 1988-89. Freddie Mercury was a nonsmoker until he started in 1980. Brian (Star Fleet Project) and Roger each released solo albums before Freddie made his. Also Queen had a separate manager in the States being Jack Nelson (they parted ways amicably and was interviewed in the band’s official 1995 documentary Champions of the World to promote the Made in Heaven album).
