Hey man I'm so glad that people like you still talk about this camera. Would you mind telling me as to how you color grade the footage from this point and shoot camera? I have the exact same model but anytime I try to color grade the footage it looks bad (I turned down everything sharpness contrast everything.Also Im still a beginner in color grading. Your reply would be highly appreciated and I use davinci resolve studio currently. Thanks!

Apologies for the delay, I haven't played around with the SX530 HS much. One of the differences I noticed right away is that the camera records in 30FPS. Which is fine if you're not planning on using this for "filmmaking" exclusively. You are free to try them out to see how it goes!

I actually made a video that goes through the settings I would mention here! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKHHaYpjgMRkpLM&lc=Ugx4kPkPs-W-F2Of4V54AaABAg&ab_channel=DillonProductions As for the editing software, I use adobe premiere pro (Apart of the Adobe Creative Subscription) But as a suggestion to start, you can look at Davinci Resolve (free version), imovie, Final Cut pro, and many more that could list honestly! I think part of it was the lens here. I used a vintage lens, then color corrected in post!
