Bro, thank you so much - I had bookmarked your other clip but realised that my X100T has the old sensor so was bummed out - but then I stumbled across this. I have entered the settings, so let's see...

I'm also all for an X80/X70s. 18mm f/2 should work (look at the size difference between the 23mm f/2 and X100 lens) so lets add that to the dream list. Use at the very least the NP-W126s battery but the NP-W235 would be better. Make the camera thicker at the grip to make this work (like x-s20/a6000 but not quite as obnoxious of a grip) but no thicker than the lens sticks out. Card slot on the side instead of the front. Keep the screen it has (although I don't hate the flippy/XM5 style screen as it lets you close it when not in use). Add a OVF/EVF that pops up from the top left corner of the body (like the RX100). This might require losing the flash, if that's the case include a similar flash with the camera like the old sony NEX5 did. 26mp sensor at the least if not 40mp and allow the cropping options that the X70 has but in RAW like the X100v/vi. One of the BIG appeals to this body for me (not great with 16m) is the 3 focal length options are 28/35/50 -vs- 35/50/70 for the x100 line. Fuji also really needs to borrow the mraw options sony has, I'd LOVE it to be 40mp but only use ~25mp but have that work for both the full sensor at 18mm but then have it be the same/similar MP when cropped (then smaller at the second crop). IBIS would also be really nice but I'm guessing it's hard to fit or the XM5 would have had it. Give it the processor 5 from the newest cameras for better AF. Keep the shutter speed dial and aperture on the lens, add ISO as part of the shutter dial (like the X100vi/x-pro etc). Also, the WCL/TCL are kinda against the point of something this small but rework them anyway to be bayonet mount (like sony's fisheye adapter for their 16mm 2.8) instead of threaded. And for the love of cameras, GIVE US XPAN CROP!!! I love 65:24 on my GFX that it's in camera. It's a game changer over 16:9 in camera with grids then cropping on import in Lr. I think that covers it?...

any fuji with 23mm f2 is decent. just size is different. the closest would be xe4 in terms of size. otherwise xt30 xt50 is also close enough.

When it comes to shooting , which do you use ? P , Manual or Snap? I'm a newbie to this gr3x hdf and photos are coming okish.. sometimes I see that super sharp, mostly no. Been using Manual though because, no idea on how to do snap properly
@Reggiebphoto6 күн бұрын
I use regular autofocus. No snap or manual focus. And I shoot in aperture priority
@ericlundquist34666 күн бұрын
@Reggiebphoto must be using Olympus / OM since the EM5-1 release that the GR3x isn't clicking yet. I can snap a razor-sharp image with 0 effort on that camera (om1), but the gr3x will take practice, lol

Just got an X-T5 and this really helped me understand the recipe settings. Also, I had changed the clarity setting to -2 before I took my first shot and thought the “storing” message was normal. Wasn’t too happy about it, but had an aha moment when you mentioned that causing the delay.

Hey what's up man, I came across your KZbin channel and found it very resourceful, being that I'm new the fujifilm fam. In this video you mentioned the cinebloom diffusion filters 49mm. Is there a alternative for that one? Only reason bc I'm on a time crunch and the cinebloom won't be here before I go to my trip. I'm also rocking with the x100v so your videos are super helpful

New Ricoh user here, really wish there was a better filter system for these little beasts. I don’t like the form factor of the adaptor ring for filters, it ruins the pocketable aspect. On the flip side, there is that stick on filter but helps with dust but won’t work with other effect filters. I was thinking about a stick on magnet with filter system but making this would be such a niche project, not like I have the funds for anyways.

Hey people, do you use an uv filter to protect your camera - what do you prefer: the one to put directly on or the one with an adapter? Thanks!
@Reggiebphoto11 күн бұрын
You can’t put one directly on without using adhesive thst could possibly risk damage of the front lens housing
