The secrets and surprises hidden within each stone have always been a great source of curiosity for me. It’s so exciting to watch them from here. Your idea to polish the banded agates was brilliant, you brought out all their beauty. Thank you so much for creating and sharing this wonderful video, Jason.

Holy cow Jason! Those were all gorgeous! My favorite, and it was tough to pick, was the last one. That stick agate was absolutely wild! Every mm of it was amazing! There wasn't a bad area on it. It just blew my mind! Such amazing rocks! All of them! I love SRL Gemstones! They have amazing rocks that they feature everyday! If not twice a day sometimes, on their channel! And they have gorgeous stuff! And at reasonable prices! I checked out their website the other days and there are a couple of them that have my name on them! Lol such amazing agates there in turkey! Thank you Jason, for sharing your beautiful agates and thundereggs!

Thanks Lisa! Yes they have some very nice material. Only one of the agates had significant fracturing. The agates from that area of the world are beautiful.

oooh my gosh, this was such a fun video 😍!! The last 3 rocks were my favorite! The surface grinding on those last 2 agates was perfection, they look so good!! And the details in the 3rd last one, the sticks and sprays, what on Earth!? Amazing.

😮 I have loved rocks since I was a little girl. The first thunder egg gave the impression of two outlines of wolves. I think it was the second agate. I see 2 little ducks/fowl impregnated on each side, gorgeous. The partial cut with stick agate is beautiful. The last 2 was a great idea to polish they are spectacular. Thank you ❤ God creates so much beauty in our world ❤

Me too. I would bring home cool looking stones and sticks . Mom would get mad at me and throw them outside again, lol. We r both a little older and living together again. She still doesn’t like my sticks and stones, but they make me money now, 😮😂🎉✌🏻💗🙏🏼

The stick agate, if I had a favourite, which I don’t as the majority are A+, is the most interesting piece to me. What a bizarre natural formation! Any idea what conditions those form under, or is it just a big cosmic mystery? Cheers!

They are typically pseudomorphs. Meaning it was once another mimeral that had a crystal structure that looked like tubes and straws (usually a zeolite mineral). Then later slica rich water saturated the area and replaced the zeolite with chalcedony, making it harder, and in most cases, more colorful. The process is similar to wood petrification, only instead of wood it is another rock/mineral.
