We were very happy to be invited to this intimate house concert with her, doesn't get any better.

They're still touring around doing this show, you could be hypnotized in person :). Definitely worth checking out if they have a date near you and Tristan is really cool as a person too. The beeps were driving me crazy, hoped a simple video would help others have some peace :)

I had Vitamix look at this video and they sent me a new one, so far no issues yet but it's only been a couple of years. Overall we've had positive experiences with Vitamix, in one instance I dropped one of the plastic containers, the handle broke. I was honest with them and told the it was my fault, they said it's technically not under warranty but agreed to send me a new one free of charge understanding that accidents do happen. Our 7500 has an issue with the speed controller, it's not bad enough to stop us from using it but it doesn't ramp up smoothly, it is out of warranty so we're just living with it. I'm pretty sure the blade assembly is removable from any of the containers, I know I took the one out of my broken plastic one and saved it so I'd have an extra after receiving the new one. It's just a big nut on the bottom, probably a special tool exists but I was able to turn it with something home-made in the wood shop. You may want to check youtube for blade replacement videos before buying an entirely new container.

I honestly don't know, I didn't realize this was public, I uploaded just for my reference. Likely between 500 given the overcast day and slower lens I used.

Most of the filming was done by my uncle Bill Lasch but my mom also used the camera and I'm sure other family members as well grabbed it since my uncle is in some of the videos himself. The woman sitting on her dad's lap is my mom, she's throughout the video. Kind of neat seeing my mom and even myself as children. Thanks for commenting.

It's a fascinating look into the past. William would've been an amazing man to know. I hope his wife lived long. I wonder what photos he was looking at in the 34:20 mark? Thanks

@@electric-toadstool I asked my mom about the photos, they were various pictures my uncle took and printed, he had a darkroom back in the day and was excited about making his own black and white prints. Probably everything from cars to the ground hog to photos of downtown. We probably have a bunch of those photos today stored in a box. As for his wife she lived into her 90's, that was my grandmother but I called her Nan. We have always been a close family and helped one another. My mom just turned 81, she was 12 in some of these clips, later some of the video was taken by her. i'm glad we have these memories, some people I never met because the passed before I was even born (like my grandfather in the hospitla bed)

I wonder how much your mom remembers about these movies? It seemed like such a great era to live in.

@@electric-toadstool My mom is alive and well, she's the one that helped me make up all the title slides, she remembers it all and can tell me everything about it when we watch them.

I probably would have done the same had I not found out it can be turned off! My old air fryer had one "ding" when it was done, that was ok but this one was driving me crazy. I usually omit letting it heat up and just put my food in, works fine but the incessant chimes were annoying. Glad my video helped.

I would but i really never use wireless mics. Thought about trying the DJI but the poor audio quality discouraged me from any consumer quality wireless systems. Sorry I can't be of more help. You may want to check some P8P user forums.

I would definitely never trust just one attachment point after having my camera fall to the ground. Glad you found it useful.

She did, we were lucky enough to be invited. Small house concert series. I don't know where you reside but there's a lot of house shows happening across the country, usually it's all donation not for profit (otherwise they get shut down running a business out of a house). We've been to hundreds, great intimate setting with 20 to 30 people plus you get to hang out in the kitchen and chat with the artists usually before and after the show.

@@eyeriiis Over the past 30 years, yes, not all in one year. I also work doing music photography (with lots being volunteer work) so I'm probably more aware of what's happening than some. Many are open to the public, some are by invite only... it's a great way to truly experience music as it's meant to be. In addition to house shows there's also a lot of relatively small venues (less than 100) featuring fantastic original artists that just haven't gotten into the mainstream yet. It's really exciting to see someone who becomes the next big thing when they're not yet discovered by the masses.
