The big red boat with hanging washing, how does that get under the bridges? (@4min)

Sorry; it is CRUSING ALBA.
@frankquevedo6001Ай бұрын
When you had a continuous program it was one of three favorite vlogs, crusing the cut, and Alba. I must’ve missed the one where you explained why you were giving up crusing the cut. Nonetheless I found a couple of videos never, by me, seen. So I will relax and take a seat down memory lane. TTFN,

Hi, I know this was filmed a number of years ago but it has to be the most imformative video on boating I have ever watched and as a soon to be boater thank you. You haven't put me off by any means but a real eye opener...once again thank you and hope to see you both out there one day, take care, Brian.

We used to live on a narrowboat years ago. We had hardly any clothes, because you know the life doesnt lead to much does it. However we both had in suit bags, a funeral outfit and a wedding outfit…….because you never know do you? I mostly wore short denim skirts with bare legs, or leggings or thick tights. I found tights dried the quickest onboard. Enjoy the canal life.

Would help if you actually used metal drill bits rather than wood drill bits for the metal 😂 good effort anyway

This same clunk happened to another boat turned out the clunk was the breaking of a motor mount which they had welded up . All because of the prop getting tangled up in the prop. Good luck you 2 stay safe. Happy Trails

Two Ropes: So, at Teddington and up to the sourse beyond St Johns we ask for two ropes because of the variety in the river users and in the locks. On the canals you'll have predominantly narrowboats in locks built just wide enough for the boat. So a 6'10" wide boat in a 7'6" wide lock. Whereas on the Thames we see vessels between 3" and 20' wide and from 6' to 120' long. We treat everyone the same and work to the lowest denominator. The locks also vary widely around 120' long to 600'. 16' wide to 23' and with a depth between 2'6" and 9'. Some fill from the gates, others from the bottom and some do both at the same time. Hope that helps ;)

There's no need for that racial slur. So you've experienced a tiny measure of the racism/prejudice travellers face because you've been perceived as one, and you haven't done any introspection? Please do better
@baisteescruncher Жыл бұрын
Wow no need for the racist comment around 28 minutes in. Truly mad

Why are you casually using a racial slur in your video (28.50)? Do better. Reported.

I love Eel Pie Island (and Twickenham) but I caught a glimpse of my happy place for years, The Barmy Arms, which is on the right, before the footbridge. Is only quick though.

Another KZbinr who assumes it's ok to ask for a "like, hit the button & subscribe". To be supported by their viewers and then simply disapppear. A 60 sec video to inform all the subscribers would be at the very least the decent thing to do. Truly very insincere people!

Tim that this Lady learned how to do a back splice or sail makers whipping. The first knot is a round turn and two half hitches, A figure of 8 is a stop knot tied to the end of a rope to pr event it running back through a bulls eye or block.
