Wondering how long this survived. I'd have concerns about the way the panels were mounted to the box. Any movement in the wood would cause cracking or pop the glue joint

Hey the Doctor! You live up to your name for sure! "Doctor"! Very well doctored storage and space saving solution there! It occupies number one in my vast library of workshop organization ideas. If by any chance you stray into Johannesburg, I will be more than happy to accommodate you for free as long as you want as compensation for this free gem video. I will be happy to show you our slums as well. Thanks a million times. I wish I could like this 100k times

The design, the details and woodworking skills to create beauty to eye and ear are impressive. Can no imagine the hours of patience and attention involved. Impressive! Well done. Great camera work and tight, well edited story.

Thanks for sharing! I have a little metal flip calendar that has the numbers at the top so I'm still not sure exactly how that works with gravity, but nice to get an idea! And yours is beautiful. Good job well done :)

Wow! as one that has a couple of modal scaled (G scale C modal) and crafted with gourd bodies,,, fun to play the 2 for C stuff... and collected street-sweeper brush tines from our streets and made a few of my own sound makers... I have wanted to remake a Racha that i made of 1.5" ABS pipe ... many shallow cuts across the pipe made rhythms when a stick drags across the ridges... and i love your finger joint jig which would work... I make the cuts with 3-4mm ridges but some broke over the years so i must spend a day making another with wider ridges. There's 3 set of cuts, they join at their edges.. - Middle: 3 even cuts -Right:2 cuts ,1 uncut -Left:1 cut, 2 uncut... something like 1/2 pipe wall exists where matching cts meet to keep some support. Almost 1/2 the circumference, for all so 50deg each(?) and one rotates to change rhythms while stroking ( a rain stick inside adds more) Thanks for showing your tine material choices, tuning jig, and how to get tuned; not to mention that you crafted a beauty! Solid crafting too.

Do you have plans for something like this? Plans that can be easily modified based on drawer size for overall length and slot size for cutlery used.

You’re a better person than me. I get wood glue on my fingers and my autism sends me into a fit. I can’t stand the feeling of dirt or sticky stuff on my hands. Makes my skin crawl. Like nails in a chalkboard. Which is why I weak gloves at all times when working.
