in 36 volt test.why output amper is so low? my ebike motor needs 25 amper.also my battery says only 15 amper input

P=V*I (P=power, I=Curent in Ampere, V=Voltage). So do the math.

Cool. Do you think, can I use the 5V (fan "port") to add another 5v fan? Under 1A is it will be okay?

so if I buy a 3000mah battery and hit auto, this should say close to 3000mah after the test, correct? did you verify that?

LOL. I did 12V input, 18V, 24V, 36V and yet someone said why didn't you test 15V. and yet you say it is too long. so we can't satisfy everyone. The reason for this reveiw is to show all comong input and output voltage so people get idea as how much the input and output current and power is . So you posted question and seems you did not even watch first 5 minuets. I have explained the specs.

Summary: TEMPERATURE TEST = 91º (With and Withouth Heatshink) What do you think, boss? I have good news or bad news...... I have done temperature test to the 6W3R9J resistors. With 4 cells discharging at 1 amp, ambient at 20º, they go to 91º . (using a Thermal Camera) I have tried to put heatsinks on each resistor, but the benefit has been null. I got 91º again. I have looked for these ceramic resistors all over the internet, to see if I could find a “datasheet” or similar, but I have had no luck. I don't know if the temperature range of 91º can be considered “safe” to use this device. I am considering putting a fan with more CFM to see if it improves the temperature of the resistors.

Hi! I was just thinking about this module and rewatched your review. Do you know if it is supposed to be able to handle two loads (it has two sets of terminals ) at around 2A, or is the 2A rating considered total amps for both loads / both potential outputs combined? Somewhere in my research, someone said each output could support 2A because it has two of the TI chips, but based on your test, I’m questioning that. Maybe each chip is dedicated to the positive and negative output? I’m thinking about getting the 5v output version of the module so I can use a bunch of high quality 12v adapters I have here to run two devices (both loads are 1.5A 5v LEDS + an ESP32 controller. But if this can only handle 2A total, it might be better to use two LX4015 modules (or anything better you might recommend to run dual loads). What do you think?

apparently 960Watt is bigger than 800Watt and that is probably the cause it broke. What seems strange is that if then added a microcontroller to the board to display status they could also add functions to avoid over powering.

Good morning. I got one of these capacity testers from Amazon. Power supply is a problem. It will not accept my standard USB C power cables. I had to use my DeWalt light with a big 8 ah battery connected to it. It has both a USB A and C connectors on it. My tester has sporadic problems - the screen stops working from time to time, the dimensions of the battery boxes suck and the measurement between 1&2 differs from those on 3&4. Amazon is replacing it.

I don't think the BMS is responsible for the 10% lower-than-advertised capacity - as the typical voltage curve for LiFePo4 is rather flat. Wulills batteries typically only achieve 90-95% of their rated capacity in various test reports available online.
@WattHour

@@WattHour Sure it did turn off at 10,7V - but 5% voltage difference does not equate to 10% capacity for lifepo4
