Can air leak into the 10 spd through the two small holes at the back of the air modular.? THANKS PS it shifts good.❤

Yes air can leak into the transmission from around the range piston. There are orings that seal against the bar or rod of the range piston. Also two orings on the cover that can be problematic as well

Thanks for getting back to me ,I'm loosing air in system no air on the outside of the modulator,but the air line to the modulator has multiple leaks, I think that's my problem. Will see, thanks again, now go hunting.

What if it is only leaking in low and not on the high side? When mine is in high it doesn’t bypass air only when it’s in low side

Pulling the transmission is the best way to do the job in my opinion. Some trucks you may have enough space to remove the top other trucks you may not. The chances of dropping something down in there and destroying the gearing are high doing the job while the transmission is in the truck.

Never ever reuse a cat cut im into $1000's right now they can warp,hairline cracks deform ect trust me I do know.their cheap buy new ones

If it’s getting stuck in low or reverse you could have a broke reverse snapring on the mainshaft of the transmission. Hell it will bind in any gear really if that snapring fails. Carefully move the truck in and out of low and reverse to try to get the reverse gear to slide back to were it needs to be once it frees up bring it to a shop sorry man

The gearing on the output shaft needs to be timed to the countershafts if you don’t have it timed like I do in the video bad things happen

There are timing reference marks on the countershafts indicated by a ° stamped on either the top or the bottom of the teeth on the upper or lower part of the tooth were your low gear rides.

My Columbia 07 probably have the same problem, because in the 10 gear ⚙️ it has a high vibration, today 11-26-24 was crazy loaded with 43k pounds , it’s doing that from a few weeks ago 😬

You saved my day. I've got $2,000 invested and now I'm doing it myself in 3 weeks time. They sent the wrong PTO. The mechanic built me one out of his junk. It started having problems The very first day and then gave up after a week and a half of barely working company sent me out the right parts for the wrong PTO and now I have to build it. Like I said you save the day. Thank you

Are you familiar with old petes. Mine is a 1984 i put the new shift knob on. It is a completly dofferent design then my old one. Had a few mechanics tell me so.e older 13 speeds wont work woth the newer 13 speed shift knob. Mine was a chome 2 piece job@etrtruckcenterenginedrivet8918
