One of the reasons for the anger in the song is Manyard's mother was criticized by some members of her church, who said she must have done something wrong for something so bad to happen to her.

I love the drums it gives me Beach Boys/ Dennis Wilson vibes who was their drummer and was also mentioned in the song and is the brother of Brian Wilson Mike Love is their cousin and let’s just say if someone say you’re just like Mike Love it’s not a good thing he’s super hated and everybody loves Brian and his brothers Dennis and Carl Wilson probably Al Jardine too

Church abandoned her - God didn´t. Jesus fought the same "forces" and he was the son of God. We got to realize that this life we live here as a person ("persona") is a blink of an eye, a temptation in itself. Judith remained faithful - mimicing Jesus. If you´re an atheist, then she died in peace towards being happy in staying true to her faith. If you´re a christian, then you´ll be happy for her even more so. Since now she is standing UP with the true king and it was all fucking worth it. Maynard is an intelligent artist, but can´t (understandably) see further than his understanding of faith. I love this song and Judith made it possible. The anguish you see here is for a purpose and that was her´s...you just have to see further than that. Thank you guys for the reaction and thank you Maynard and Judith for making this lesson possible for all of us. Godspeed !

I don't care what anyone says....if a being all powerful that could save someone with just an inkling of power and withholds doing so is WAY more evil than any demon or devil dumb Christians could make up! It is a moral problem for religious idiots because it is a self imposed rule god put on himself. Even after 2000 years no one can worm around it or excuse it LMFAO....so stupid!

This song isnt just about news media, although that is one prime example of a larger group of or need for tradegy in general. Every human is included in what he talks about even if one thinks they are not. I'll give some evidence... Has a book, movie, play, etc., ever been written where no conflict occurs? ever? What if there was a book that simply was all mundane daily stuff of a person and absolutely nothing interesting happened? Readers would be confused, bored, and not even understand why something was written without a fundamental plot. Even if it's not "death" he is, in the larger picture talking about "tradegy". Even in a TV sitcom something will cause suffering due to a comical misunderstanding or odd funny occurence that disrupts their life in a negative way (even if its minor and temporary). We are drawn to conflict, (i.e. plot). Weather is mass death on the news or we enjoy reading Harry Potter, we need to view conflict, its a fundamental part of humans.

5:03 Your superman analogy has no basis in fact, even if it is a fictional character. FFS, think harder. What you suggest that he can't allow or prevent is just reaching.
@CampSiteVlogs

@@aipaloovik We aren’t having a fact based discussion in general Because We are speaking about something people believe in and not something that is factual. That being said I’m not speaking in facts, I’m speaking in hypotheticals. So my Superman analogy works just fine with those things in mind. Any person who can effortlessly save a life and chooses not to save a life should feel some level of guilt. Hypothetically, A human who saved 9 out of 10 possible lives during a catastrophic event would likely still feel guilty that they weren’t able to save everyone even though it wasn’t within their power to save everyone. The reason why a human would feel guilt in that situation is because we have love in our hearts for our fellow man. It’s unfair to assume God wouldn’t have equal if not superior love in his heart for his children wouldn’t you say?

4:36 Nice deflection. Not actually acknowledging valid arguments. Trying to reinterpret a reaction rather than accept the simplest solution. "YEAH. JUST AH... COMMON ARGUMENT... IT'S A SHORTCOMING."... No, the argument is valid, and you're just trying to gloss over that by suggesting a wrong interpretation. Keep on deflecting and not really answering the question. That's all you in that camp are good for.
@CampSiteVlogs
@CampSiteVlogs 4 ай бұрын
@@aipaloovik I checked out the time stamp you provided and it was just my Superman analogy. I’m not exactly sure how I may have been deflecting. In the song, Maynard appears to be blaming God for his mother’s condition. “Your lord your Christ. He did this. Took all you had and left you this way”. Obviously god didn’t cause her aneurysm himself but the all powerful god of course choose not to prevent it. So since he is blaming God for his inaction, it would seem my Superman inaction example would be relevant. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding what your issue with that Superman example is. We can continue discussing if you like.

@@CampSiteVlogsisn’t god all knowing and all powerful? Aneurysms, and all faults of the human body, are of his creation. Maynard’s mother was brought to Earth with god already knowing what was going to happen to her even after she was so Christian. Not only did he “not intervene”, he would be directly responsible.

@CampSiteVlogs
@CampSiteVlogs 9 күн бұрын
@ I know Superman would not let someone die in the comics. But let’s say he did. He saw someone about to get shot who is in need of saving. He could have saved them but chose not to. Then as a result of Superman’s decision to not intervene, the person was shot and killed. In that moment Superman might as well been the one to pull the trigger. Even though someone else decided to shoot the gun, it was Superman who decided the fate of the victim. God having the power to stop anything bad for happening but choosing not to, is the same my Superman analogy. Sorry you were unable to fully understand it the first time. I don’t always get the full point across to everyone.

I grew up Christian, (by my parents) I'm non-denominational now as an adult. I find it weird that nobody picks up on the "spite spear into his side" line where Jesus was actually killed by a roman soldier with a spear after being taken down by the cross. Religious adults blow my mind when it comes down to how little they know about their own faith, and are basically brainwashed. That's why I'm not religious. 99% of religious people believe what they believe, because they popped out of a vagina, in a certain part of the world, at a certain point in time...and their parents and local culture taught them "this is what reality is"

I know im late to the party, but i had to comment after your mention of the story of Job. I find that story horrible. The devil nad god are having a disagreement about his loyal followers as if they hang out togeather. I thought they were enemies. Also, does the devil question god? As if there is a possibility that god does not know or is in error. God then tortures a man that loves him just to win a bet with the devil? I find that story morally abhorrent. On the surface it seems fine but its horrible and questions gods very nature and begs the question of the nature of gods and the devils relationship. Every part is a moral failure period. Please explain how im wrong, i dare you.

I don't believe God will be offended is someone give them the F bomb. If it was he would strike them where they stood. or give them the can swear without mouth threatment like in the Matrix. because if God get offended this this will mean A) God Exist B) He/She/It is pissed out about you ! We all know that God works in mysterious way and trying to imply our logic to him/her/it actions is pure waste of time.
