You are clearly arguing against strawman versions of RR's arguments. E.g. bringing "the there are 1000 different genders" argument against the claim that a castle is also a social construct not unlike the concepts of man and woman. RR is not arguing that there are 1000 different genders here you muppet. In normal everyday life we don't categorize people as men or women by their genitalia or other biological characteristics. We do it by the freaking social signifiers which actually change over time and culture that you yourself pointed out. Such a low quality video.

Why is it difficult to believe that Mary is an ever virgin? This is the woman who bore the Messiah, do you think Joseph would not honor her by having a chaste marriage? If people in our age can be chaste their entire life, what more the mother of Christ?

10 “Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father Isaac. 11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad-in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: 12 not by works but by him who calls-she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”[d] 13 Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”[e] 14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”[f] 16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”[g] 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. 19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”[h] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? 22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath-prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory- 24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?” How do you people explain this?

22:10 The brain begins to develop at conception. By 6 weeks, the nueral tube is closed and electrical signals can be recognized. It may not be brain function in the same way an adult has brain function, but it is brain function nonetheless. Also, the baby in the womb tells itself how to grow. All the mother does is provide a safe soace and nutrients (about 300 calories a day) to the growing fetus. The baby's cells direct the growth and formation theirselves.

There are two words for brother and cousin in aramaic and greek, so Jesus had sisters and brothers according to the gospels and the attempt to keep Marys virginity is plain pegan thinking. Hundreds of Mary statues in our town and churches showing pure idolatry and is a fruit of stupid religion not seeing the glory of god in Jesus face by the Holy Spirit .

Is this another hook to frighten us into the C. Church? Do all Catholics agree on transubstantiation? No, and not a small matter. Is Our Heavenly Father going to send lovers of Jesus to hell because they backed the wrong lamb in your 'Lamb race' for salvation? As I was baptised as an infant, how lucky for me that somebody sat me on the right Lamb. Fear not, I won't fall off. God firmly holds his lambs in his Almighty Hand; a hand far too large even for "Jumping Catholics" to escape. Try Luke 22:20, "... the new covenant in my blood."

Since there was no historical evidence about how Mary lived, other than speculation who Mary was in the Bible, I am not convinced yet that Mary was sinless and Saint. If she was really the first one that was “baptized”. I would expect Mary was as eager as Jesus diciples, like Jesus brother, James , Peter, Paul etc. We would’ve heard more evidence where fruit of the Spirit working in Mary in the Bible. I am not bible scholar but I only remember the human nature of her like she worried about 12 years old Jesus in the temple.

Besides the fact that in Luke 1:28, the word that the angel uses is kecharitomene, which has been translated by various scholars as “full of grace”, “graced one,” “one who has been made graced,” “highly graced,” and “highly favored.” In the last instance the translator is using the concept that to be graced by God is to find favor with God. Mary also called on Christ to perform His first public miracle at Cana, commanding the servants to "Do whatever he tells you." She also remained with Christ at the foot of the cross and was present with the Apostles when the Holy Spirit descended upon them. To say that Mary was not a Saint, or sinless is so obviously disrespectful to the Ark of the New Covenant, the one Chosen by God to bear His son, you should reread your Gospel.

I think it's funny how everyone hates the catholic church but they forget the catholic heroes who stood against islam and prevented europe and probably the world from being forced into islam. Look at egypt egypt was fiercely christian same as other middle eastern places and after muslims took over the burned all the churches turned the remaining churches into stables for horses and they imposed harsh tax on christians often enslaving christian women and their daughters for the massive Islamic slave trade but that's besides the point. If it wasn't for the catholic heroes during the crusade area when there where no orthodox or protestants. We'd all be muslims. The catholic church is and always has been the true church of Jesus christ the crusaders answered the call of the popes they indeed venerated the saints listen to the book defenders of the west and apologize to the catholic church bc with out the catholic church we'd all be muslim. I'm on mobile so bad grammar

Kudos to to these protestants for being honest, transparent and open to dialog. As a Catholic that was a very well studied and involved protestant for 47 years, I can say the great majority of those that continue in protest against the church, in my experience, are not even open to mature dialog. I would rank myself as having been in that bunch for many years.

Really good conversation, those sound like some really decent down-to-earth the guys you spoke with Trent. I think a book that might help them out with some of the questions about our Blessed Mother is "The Mother of Jesus in the New Testament" by Fr. John McHugh. A good read, especially with the brothers of the Lord content (there are also some references in other Gospels i can't recall off the top of my head, which give at least a few hints that the brethren in Matthew 13 were not uterine). God bless.

Let GOD talk to you instead of anyone else. GOD has given us HIS WORDS in the Holy Scriptures. Get a KJV Bible and read it and GOD will teach you the truth. GOD creates a relationship with a person by baptizing them with HIS HOLY SPIRIT meaning HE indwells them with HIS SPIRIT. HIS HOLY SPIRIT quickens (gives eternal life) to that person. That person will then be taught by GOD to come to and believe in JESUS CHRIST that HE died for our sins in our place on the cross once for all. My evidence: John 6:44 KJV "No man can come to ME (JESUS CHRIST), except the FATHER which has sent ME draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day (resurrect his dead body). 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of GOD*. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the FATHER, comes unto ME. 46 Not that any man has seen the Father, save HE (JESUS CHRIST) which is of GOD, HE has seen the FATHER. 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on ME has everlasting life."

I think Catholics should pull away from the phrase lose your salvation. It makes it sound like you lost your car keys. Or like God said okay you weren't good enough so I'm revoking your salvation. When in reality you choose sin and death over Christ in life and trash your salvation.

Trent horribly misrepresents Romans 7. Paul says “For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, *IN* *MY* *FLESH.* For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.” (Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭18‬-‭20) Trent emphasized the need for purgatory because sin is still present within Paul. Ahhh, but Paul says the sin is in his FLESH! Our flesh dies here on earth and it is our SPIRIT that will go to heaven when we die. Jesus will resurrect our flesh on the last day. So, tell me Trent… what exactly needs purification??? Our flesh dies… Paul says the sin is only in his flesh… what’s being purified in purgatory? Paul says he has the desire to do what is right! That means Christ dwells within him (IN HIS SPIRIT). When we have the desire to do what is right and a hatred of sin, we can be confident that Christ is in us and NOTHING will separate us from his eternal love.
