Hi, If you're referring to Tai Chi for Arthritis 2, then it's "Leisurely Tieing Coat" not stroked the horses tail. Another form is stroking the bird tail, maybe you get confused.

Can anyone give a medical explanation for why these Tai Chi moves will benefit diabetes sufferers? Are there any diabetes patients who were cured after doing this Tai Chi?
@JMCool78

because some special moves activate some special organs in a special way, but at the end its even not fully possible to explain why insuline works as it works so you never will get a explication until you believe in it.

Because it activates Chi energy through certain meridian body points that help stimulate the organs into better health that have and are effect by the diabete

@yangchensun5546
@yangchensun5546 6 жыл бұрын
From what I see, it's not the 24 Form if you are referring to the Yang 24 Form. One of the above sets of movements is said to be "for Osteoporosis" and the other "for Diabetes". There are many other movements in the Yang and Sun styles, so WHY are those movements chosen for the choreograph? How do those movements in the sets SPECIFICALLY heal or reduce osteoporosis or diabetes? I have asked before but got no answer. Well, Tai Chi is good for health, but to say that a certain choreograph of movements is "for a certain medical problem", I think that needs some explanation (Jennifer, I hope you can explain).

Sorry, to reply late. Did'nt see this. There are many benefits for people practicing Tai Chi for health reasons. All tai chi helps for people with chronic conditions - Osteoporosis, Diabetes, Arthritis, 0thers - The slow controlled movements help in balancing, weight transference, joints flexibility, coordination of hands and legs movement. When one practice the movements, help to calm your minds, Qi flows, the benefit of strengthening your muscles. Over a period of time, your health improves, Qi flow better and all this help to improves your health. So if you have health issues, you will find improvement of towards your health after a period of practice. You have to constantly practice daily from 15 mins to an hour each day as your tai chi get better each day. Unconsciously you can feel your health improve. Some feel their legs muscle is stronger each day, walk longer without grasping for air, less pain, less headache, many more. These are the benefits you're getting without knowing. When you can continue to practice few sets of tai chi example, Taichi for Osteoporosis, Diabetes and Arthritis 1 and 2, you will find your memory improved. You can remember better. Hope this help to answer your questions. Thank you and happy practicing.
