You need to play need for speed

Lol I spent the first couple days of playing FH5 just driving around and discovering every single road and off-road finishing the 530 something roads. From doing that alone I knew the game wasn't for me and never touched again.

This is a solid game in a great series, I thoroughly enjoyed the refined combat and exploration from Metro 2033 and Last Light. It had all the emotional moments as well as feeling very immersive... Im very excited for Metro 4 and STALKER 2

I wish fh5 was actually felt like in the 2020s not the 80s, they need a more futuristic city. Maybe fh6 in Japan will feel better?

I have felt the thrilling good feeling of GTA with Test Drive Unlimited 1, but never any Forza Horizon game. Horizon games are boring.

I remember the cities have always felt dead and fake. I’ve played 1,2,3 and 4 and I always thought there was something wrong. I can’t tell what though, perhaps a lack of variety of buildings, things to do. The cities always feel like they should be full of things to do but they feel anticlimactic when you get inside

Yes when you first mentioned the starter cars I immediately knew what you were going to say because I had the exact same thoughts playing Forza horizon 4. Now while I think the festival playlist is one of the best parts of the game because it gives something to grind towards, in other ways the game lacks progression because the game just sends you Lamborghinis for free in the mailbox. I want the early days to be a grind and have to work my way up from sh-tboxes. Festival playlist can force you to drive bad cars sometimes though and that is fun. I also think maximising a cars racing ability in a specific class rating and competing to get top times for that rating is a great way to enjoy low end cars too because the competition makes you realise that fast doesn’t necessarily mean good. For example, my favourite car right now is the Abarth Fiat 131 from 1980, a cheap, small car that doesn’t really well in A class rally.

I have never played Fh 5 and any Fh at all. But sad thing is, that youre right. In gta 5 you start basically from scratch but in forza you can get super cars from the start , and the game looses the point of racing game.

Played MHW a lot... a lot. Loved it then the deal on rise came around and i was like why not and i gotta say it is a chore to turn on MHR instead of MHW. All points are true if going from world straight to rise. Combat, specifically aerial combat was sooo much better in world as a GS player. Mounting was better in world, monster control better in world. In rise the combat loop is soo boring coparitively speaking. Select monster from list go out kill monster come back select monster from list go out kill monster. MHW just did it better.

I still regret not finishing the deal with my dad to get a series x. I wanted to play fh5 so bad. Still want too. The customization and the cars is so unreal to any mobile games which is understandable.

As if GTAV wasn't a technical marvel when it released back in the day. That game somehow runs on 7th gen consoles. FH5 being a "technical marvel" doesn't mean it can't have any substance to it. Also, why would you drive a VW Golf if you have a Koenigsegg in your garage? Because this isn't Need for speed. There are no better cars in FH, just faster cars. It's a sandbox game. You get to drive whatever you feel like driving. A car you own irl, a car you saw in some other franchise, or some godforsaken shitbox you just LS swapped just because. Because driving nothing but the most exotic hypercars all the time in an already bland map is boring enough.

A lot of those so-called "promises" CDPR didn't even promise. It was the fanbase overhyping the game, and everyone took the glazing as promises.

It's because Forza 5 is for casual people, i don't have the time to grind and get the best cars. Or wait until the last update finishes installing. I just want to get home, open a game, and just play it, as it is a dreamscape. I say this because i just installed NFS:Heat, and seeing all the progression that i have to make just to have the fastest car, i don't feel like i have enough time, so i quit playing it.

Freedom Unite was one of the best. The lack of graphics back in the day forced devs to be creative. Nowadays they just slide the "graphics" to the max while ignoring the rest of the game. World had graphics AND gameplay.

You see an advertisement about a delicious dinner, you go to the restaurant, they reassure you the dinner is delicious so you pay for it beforehand, and sit. You get starters and like them, maybe not much, depends on the cook. But then they just keep serving you snacks and starters and every other customer and employee acts like this is normal. The promised dinner never comes. You complain and ask for your dinner, but everyone is like "what? you don't like what they served you?" It doesn't matter, I was here for the fucking dinner. Where is my dinner?

People still keep talking about bugs and glitches and graphics and shit. Is this the end for RPGs with actual meaningful choices? Baldur's Gate 3 says no... But I don't know. This game advertised it's "branching paths and choices with consequences," even a couple months before launch and yet, this blatant lie is never talked about.

I love this game. I see why people shouldn't love it but sometimes you have to think about before its release too. From what I do remember the developers and their families were sent death threats over this game. CD Project Red wanted more time to develop it but for the safety of their developers and staff they had to release it. Some people leave it out and only shit on the devs when its our own fault because people couldn't just wait.

I agree with you, but half of the video is talking about mh world. The difference between fast paced and immersive is intentional, they always split the games in the same generation to be different and have a different feel to them.

Fh4 is more lively and interesting, but fh5 sound is miles better. It's a dilemma i ended up buying both at sales

Well, i myself, for example just bought a 7mil worth toyota corolla 1986 (AE86), and so ive just put only prettier wheels and ONLY a turbo, it doesnt go fast, but i made it realistic, not 2k hp, but realistic, thats why i enjoy it, not like others

You do have lots of valid points and i dont want to start any drama, but Forza Horizon 5 is fun if you don’t just drive in a straight line on the highway. Get a buggy and explore the jungle or maybe get a drift car and try drift some wide angles. I wouldn’t say this is as fun as GTA 5 but it might even be better. The only thing that ruins it is to can’t run people over 😂

FH5’s map is as big as it is unremarkable, once you explored it, there is hardly any reason to do so again. New cars don’t help much either. The Crew: Motorfest map is better because there are modern city and industrial place to explore and have better diversity in terms of biomes.

The reason Starfield is inferior to all their other RPGs is because all their other RPGs I could wander randomly in a direction and find interesting interactions. Starfield is void of that and that means it fails miserably as an open world rpg.

Forza Horizon is a racing game. Obviously if you don't find racing fun, then you won't enjoy it. People are trying to compare it to other games like GTA, but that is not what Forza is supposed to be. There are actually a lot of cool little parts of the game, but obviously everyone focuses on the negatives instead. I think it is an amazing game, and I play it all the time. Also, people are complaining about it being too easy. That is incredibly stupid to me, because it gives you the opportunity to increase the difficulty to what you like. I really don't think the game deserves all the hate.

Respectfully F0CK you.. there are “some” type of people who like driving for HOURS n those roads in mexico and with the forza physics. And the easy progression really is just not that bad imo, but i respect you tho so dont get mad💀 just my opinion

Your forgetting the fact that forza horizon game is what it is a horizon just a fun world of free world driving and fun, not challenging and have to work to achieve “rare” cars, there’s another game from forza which is just forza in tracks racing challenges and what not, but I totally agree with what you mean about it being spaceless and just not enough city vibes like gta. And the map being lifeless and dead is very true. They need to make more life in it.

Forza Horizon 5 is cool and has good mechanics and they could have saved it if they added more content after launch that wasn’t freaking hotwheels. Oh yeah and actually adding a progression system that isn’t just giving you cars.

Checkpoints make it so boring. Coming from Racedriver Grid and Burnout Paradise, seeing such restrictions only made me hate it more. Save the checkpoint stuff for motorsport not horizon.

In my case i would have liked to have more tuning opportunities instead of dozens of sidequests. I would prefer races in the sandstorms with bad vision than a endles highway. Maybe let supercars get stuck in sand or in the mud without the right tuning and so on. The whole street race arch is obsolete without propper boddy tuning and cops that chase u The ralley dlc feels like stuff they weren't able to add to the real map Hot Wheels DLC had a lot of potential. Hot Wheels means to me crazy unrealistic maybe Alien looking cars which are insanely overpowered

Thats why i play forza horizon 3 and gta 5 still

In fh5,it took me just 3 months to complete it playing 2 hrs a day,but in fh4,it took me somehow 5 months to complete it,playing 2 hes a day again

I prefer fh4 more than fh5 as it feels less boring and less lonely,and if you wanted a lambo in fh4 you had to race like 10 races for a lambo,but in fh5, you somehow have it at the start

no obstacles + no sense of speed = boring racing game

I’m just grateful we got a good game now, hopefully the next cyberpunk will do way better.

No other racing game will make me love a few cars as nfsmw05 made me:)
