These lotus V8's are extremely rare. Most of the ones you will see are the earlier 4 cylinder turbos as mentioned in other comments. By the time Lotus started putting V8's in these Espirits they were at the tail end of their run. Im personally not a fan of the Yellow but they were known for offering some wild colors. I believe they even had a factory purple. But 1 of 16??? Wow you talk about rare. I luv it

It's not the car from Pretty Woman, that was a 4 pot. I love lotus but the V8s.... open ur check book and repeat after me to keep it on the road. Still love it and I'd have one again!

I didnt like them when I worked there I live 4 miles away from Hethel so they are a local hero but I have had a change of heart and now I have a strange craving for one! Maybe the older boxy shape Black with the big JPS logo on the rear quarter a Turbo 4 banger tuned hard would be more the original ethos. I want one!! The years have somehow been kind to the shape in a world of blando blob boxes.

Yes.The only difference is, the one featured in pretty woman was an early model 1989.5 Esprit SE 4 cylinder Lotus. This is a 2000 V8 twin turbo:)
