This actually shut down the St. Louis area because MoDOT our transportation department is incompetent. But yea this was just a normal snow storm

@@ChrisSmithsonian-d3wMoDot had all their crew members going on 12hr shifts, plus there was retired workers volunteering, along with other folks volunteering around the whole state, trying to help clear the main highways first, as well as stranded motorists. I think I say them say roughly 1,200 MoDot crew members have been working, many in St. Louis.

I been in Truckee (California), when we got snowed in before, so I know how to deal with snow, but under the snow here we first got either freezing rain and then sleet, or sleet and then powder snow on top. Me, light snow, freezing rain, then sleet just non stop til the snow from Kansas City came to eastern Missouri. Trust me, I'd much rather be dealing with 3 feet of snow than the layer of ice on the roads, trees and power lines. Perryville got it pretty bad.
