How’d you get the pulley off. My sil has this engine

It's in the video, remove the 4 bolts, if it's a little stuck to the water pump shaft, n worries, just give the pulley a couple taps with a dead blow hammer or rubber mallet. It's not pressed on but sometimes can be stubborn.

What was the old pump acting like? And what's the milage? How'd u know it was a failed water pump?

The old pump was leaking through the weep hole, the internal seal was going. The car had 220000kms at the time of change. Thank you for watching and for the comment. We wil also be doing a video on how to rebuild a waterpump on the 8ba flathead v8 so stay tuned
