Trying to put the belt back on alone is an impossible task. It pops off the lower pulleys every time I grab it after pushing back the tensioner.

Why not release tension to put the belt on the last pulley?
@ufixit68064 жыл бұрын
Hi John, thanks for watching and great question. The tensioner pulley was all the way to the released position. I was not pushing on the wrenches due to the belt was holding the tension. This is why the starter motor had to be “bumped “ to walk the belt all the way on to the pulley. I felt it was important to show that procedure because someone might think they got the wrong belt or they might try to pry it on with a screwdriver which may cause damage to the belt. Sorry I should have mentioned that on the video. Thanks again for watching and hope it helped.

Was your MPG and acceleration significantly improved?
@abbyphilemon70232 жыл бұрын
It’s not a significant improve it’s just a very minimal increase of horsepower because the belt is on one side having the same tension
