Ladder drills are great for building faster twitch muscles and tendons in your legs. This will not only help with speed but vertical as well. You can complete this workout before your weight training 2-3 times a week on its own or before your weight training.

It can help. Ladder drills such as this will help develop foot speed. By training your body to move faster you can decrease the time your foot spends in contact with the ground during sprinting leading to an overall faster time.

Yes but I would suggest doing them on alternating days or start the day with this program then complete speed 101

Throughout the video we do a combination of resisted and un-resisted sets with kbands. This allows for enhanced muscle activation during foot speed drills leading to more speed.

I'm starting early for the soccer season. Have just purchased KBands online along with the ladder. There are many drills that look impressive to me but what 3 workouts would you recommend doing a week to improve the main aspects to make a difference to my game? Looks like a great product.

Check out that segment in the video. It's towards the end of the sequence of exercises. I never use Kbands with just legged movements simply because the bands are not going to be utilized. You can have them clipped if you wish, but you will not feel any resistance. Let me know if you have any other questions. Trevor Theismann
