Girl, I’m so happy for you! When you lifted your hair I was like, YESSSS!! 🙌🏻Your hair is getting so long. I currently have 4 patches. 😢 1 has grown out but it grew in SOLID white, it’s right on the top of my head. 😑 I’m 31 so seeing that white patch is kinda scary but I’m just glad it grew back. I’m a new subscriber and I love your videos, your so inspirational. I was seriously depressed and in tears over losing my hair but watching you gave me hope and it felt like you lifted a load of bricks off my chest w/all your positive energy. I’m learning from you as well as anything else I can get my eyes on. Hopefully I get all my hair back. THANK YOU!🤞🏼❤️🤗 *Hugs*

That's so great, glad you hair is growing back!! I'll take 2inches any day, lol. My hair is a huge security blanket and I don't see how I can emotionally handle anymore coming out. Thank you for the tip. I'm definitely going to do some research on it.

And that tip about cupping- I’ve heard really great things about that!! When it comes to alternative treatments I’m all for trying everything. It’s all about self care. I’m here for you, wishing you a full head of hair!!

Same here...a HUGE patch (like, softball size) suddenly fell out at the crown of my head after a double bleaching (i think it was a trigger bc it was so stressful and I never wanted my roots bleached). And it grew back stark white! It's still thin, and only a few inches long. my stylist put a little color on it to try and blend it better. My hair is naturally very dark and the length is bleached. So I basically had a monk look going on (still do, but blended a little better lol). I have another little patch that grew back normal color. So weird!!

Hey! Not to plug or anything but I am going thru this myself and did a BUNCH of research about essential oils for alopecia, and what quantities to mix them at etc....and of course there is a video about it on my channel! I am so happy to see your hair growing back in! It's encouraging to hear your experiences, because I've also noticed that in the bald spot I've got, some parts have spiky little hairs and some are smooth still and I am relieved to know that's normal! :) Thank you!

Hi I’m a new subscriber I was diagnosed with alopecia on December 2017 and my hair doesn’t stop shedding. I started to do the aip but I am in a low budget can’t buy organic. Will it still work just eating healthy? ..... I’m so happy for u it gives me hope!

+Elvia Galindo so sorry about your alopecia. The whole thing with AIP is to reduce the amount of inflammatory foods you put into your body. So if you are on a tight budget I’d suggest eliminating the foods that are most inflammatory like gluten and dairy would probably help the most.

Hi, thank you for your videos. I’ve been looking for people going through what I’m going through and listening to you, has really been helpful and gives me hope. I have two balding spots on both sides of my temples and I feel extremely UGLY ALL THE TIME! I’m 32yrs old with 3 kids and I feel like crying every time I try to do my hair. I have contemplated shaving my head bald, I don’t know what to do at this point. 😢

You are so not ugly at all!! Beauty starts from inside. Believe it. There are tons of things you can do to try to regrow your hair, just give it 100% effort and there are so many hair products that can help your hair look full. You are beautiful!!

hi deepa, thank you for your videos. i found out i had alopecia today based on a barber pointing out a bald spot at the back of my head. i feel down but you gave me hope. i do have a decent diet but i know the stress killed me recently which caused this. I'm prone to depression so its going to be tough, i just hope it does not spread. that being said, did you notice any difference in your nails? like pitted dots or ripple like patterns?
@DeepaBerar6 жыл бұрын
Ohmygosh yes! I had a ridge across all of my nails in the exact same spot. My manicurist told me something was up. It showed up a couple months before the alopecia. It was so strange but then I read that that is quite common with alopecia.
@wackdoseintolerant95776 жыл бұрын
Deepa Berar thank you for your reply deepa. I read that it symbolizes a more stubborn form of it. Are your nails okay now? And did they repair simultaneously with the hair or before/after

Did you get alopecia shots in your head to regrow hair? I was sent to a dermatologist by my doctor when me & my mom showed her a patch on the back of my hair gone. When we went he measured the patch which was 5 inches & 5 cm . he also checked my blood tests which i was low on vitamin D the lowest which is eh ok was 30 level but i had 12 & that also triggered alopecia but he was surprised it didn't attack further Since my vitamin D was very low. Then he diagnosed me with alopecia & he asked my mom if i could get these shots once a month my mom agreed the first i got them they hurt sm. Just yesteday i had my 2nd treatment it really hurts but they've seen improvement. I also started a healthier life style. & im eating vitamins. Alopecia areta is pretty scary
@DeepaBerar6 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear it’s starting to work! I didn’t get shots but I was low in Vitamin D as well and started taking a high dosage of that plus several other supplements.

I have hair thinning in the top, close to my forehead, no bald spots. But I’ve been diagnosed with alopecia areata. Does that mean it’s been caught early or? My hair has been thinning for some years.. it’s been the same. I’m surprised I’ve been diagnosed with this when every story I listen to people mention how things started to happen within few months.
@DeepaBerar6 жыл бұрын
I think everyone’s story is different and there’s no one way for alopecia to happen. Some people lose all their hair, some only have one small bald patch so it really varies person to person.

Hi, I'm your subscriber for a while. I had alopecia areata since last summer, one on my left head one on my back scalp. I tried everything actually even stopped smoking. I had little beard coming out and thats it.... I am also trying AIP diet for a week. Haven't seen anything changed.... I am a chinese I dont know if cupping could help you grow hair??!! that's incredible. My doctor is doing injects on my scalp every month,,,,, I also taking antidepression pills... It's been a harsh time period for me. I'm 29 now. I miss my hair so much.....T T..... can anyone give me some support plz?
@DeepaBerar6 жыл бұрын
+W Z I’m so sorry!! It can be really devastating to go through. Stick with the diet, it’ll take a lot longer to see change than a week. Stick with it for at least a couple to few months. We are all here for you. I know sometimes it’s hard to see the positive but the way I look at it is your body is telling you that something isn’t right internally so before any more bad stuff happens it’s like a wake up call to start taking care of yourself. Sending you lots of positivity!!
@marskomarsko54296 жыл бұрын
Hi, Deepa. Thanks for your reply!!! Yes, you're right. This is the signal my body gives me before something bad happens. I have to admit I had a pretty bad lifestyle and diet and I'm changing it now. My dermatologist (You can check Columbia doctors NYC) told me the cause is because of the bacterias in the guts and they're working on this issue and may have the medicines in this Springtime. I think this is also making sense by the explanation of AIP diets. Our immune system, mood, gut environment are somehow connecting each other. Anyway, Thanks for your positive energy!!!! and I will keep following here.
