@@drekberg It worked, thanks a lot. I like that it's positiveness that you listed, not things to avoid. I've been so deep in hate in the past, that this is the kind of thing I strive for, reaching nice mental state and calm. My sympatic nervous system will always be available to get mad, that's who I am, but cultivating the opposite for couple years, working on the parasympatic nervous system with meditation like Spinal Breathing helped me a lot, but there will always be work to do. Again, thanks for your wonderful content, so refreshing :)

@@drekberg I find this preventive information more helpful (meaningful) because later cancer patient is totally at the mercy of his doctor and literally can't have much options once opted for chemo. After my mom was diagnosed, the strange part was she never had any stomach ache, but at the end of her treatment, both of her kidneys gave up with constant bombardment of chemo medicines. She actually died of kidney failure.

I just had my blood work on Friday and I'm waiting on the results and I'm praying 🙏 it never comes back. I have 4 children that I want to live for and watch them grow up. Son was just diagnosed last week with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma…. Happened over a period of literally a few weeks. Fortunately we started the treatment and I started him on a fasting schedule to get his body into autophagy. One treatment and the mass in his chest is gone. Still going thru the treatments, but he’s going to beat this because of information here and not so much his Dr’s. They’re the experts on his chemo treatments, not so much on nutrition and dietary lifestyle.

Then those Drs would be out of business. They make money on prescribing pills and signing people up for chemo “treatments”. Even the CDCs website says that chemo kills the patient before the cancer does, 25% of the time ! That’s a high percentage. But I’ll bet Drs don’t tell their patients that.

Recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, I'm very glad to have found Dr. Ekberg's channel. Was told without treatment I had only 6 months. I've been through 6 chemo treatments and on my 9th Immunotherapy treatment. I am currently on day 15 of a water fast, which I'm hoping to extend up to 40 days, if possible. I'm hopeful that my next PET scan will be clear. Funny thing, my oncologist is going to think it's because of his drug regime when I fully know, it's because I'm been fasting.

Dr. Thomas Seyfried said cancer is not a genetic disease but a metabolic disease, the mitochondria switched to fermentation mode instead of oxidative phosphorylation to generate energy. All cancer cells consume nothing but glucose and glutamine. We can't get rid of glutamine but we can reduce glucose by eating less sugar and carbs.

My dad was a mechanic for over 40 years in exemplary health but this gave him a false confidence and as a result he didn't get screened or even go for regular yearly checkups. By the time we found out about the esophageal cancer it was already in stage 4. He fought for 6 months and I've never seen such a virile strongman absolutely sapped of his strength and dignity. He was honest and hard-working and had a great life but it still didn't feel fair. I smoked for 10 years and I had my occasional exposure to pesticides but ever since his death I've taken it a lot more seriously. Many of the toxins he dealt with could have been easily handled with gloves and a mask but he was old school. I tried to learn from everything he taught me but also some unintended lessons like just because you take good care of yourself doesn't mean you're out of the woods. Get those checkups. I would never want to suffer like he did. It took him 2 days to suffocate and finally let go.

"Have you lost your mind?" ... That made me chuckle because it is said to me quite regularly when friends hear how I changed my appearance simply by a combination of Keto, OMAD & carnivore eating, even though they can see the results! When I trot-out the details I've learned through these videos, about insulin-resistance and high-fat, low-carb diet & especially about sugar, almost everyone thinks I'm nuts! I've just another 30lbs or so to lose to reach my personal target (195lb, 67yrs old, 6'2") and being on no meds at all, I'm feeling pretty good.

@@marisadallavalle393 All Stoic philosophers are great! But my favorite is Seneca. Of course, this does not mean much, because I admit that I am still a beginner in the study of Stoic philosophy. The truth is that I am terribly sorry that I only got to know this philosophy when I was 58 years old! How much he could have helped me in my youth! Unfortunately, we men (I'm a man) care too much about superficial things, for example misinterpreted masculinity, especially when we're young, and "higher things" don't get much attention anymore. This is true even for those men who, like me, mostly dealt with intellectual things, for example I was a computer programmer. But it is also a "real" profession, it has little to do with philosophy. However, if you give me an email address, I will prepare the raw translation of the book into English and send it to you, from which you can draw many good ideas on how to get started with minimalism. My Hungarian readers praised my book a lot, even in the Mensa HungarIQa association, which is the association of Hungarian people with the highest IQ. I hope that you will like the book so much that you will make a version of it with "literary English", that is, you will perform the task of "native proofreader". Pretty much common sense, but sadly, when people get cancer, they sign up to do anything their oncologists tell them to do which is chemo and radiation. They don’t tell people anything about diet and health. But again, if you smoke, are overweight/obese and eat fast food and junk food/sugar, then people shouldn’t be surprised when they get sick all the time or get cancer. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I quickly realized MSG was the prime cause of dad's untimely end, although at the time I was called crazy by friends and even the doctors at the hospice. You only have to look at how much sugar and preservatives go into hospital food and how stressful just staying in a hostpital is to see how ignorant doctors and medical professional are about cancer. Generally speaking, acetaldehyde to acetate is the rate limiting step of this pathway and its pretty easy to see the effects of acetaldehyde in those who drink. Its just not popular to lump alcohol with tobacco.

Many doctors give different advice but I'll speak to my personal experience. I tried a ketogenic diet with only healthy fats for about 5 years and it destroyed my health, clogged my liver, gave me elevated liver enzymes, and I also developed autoimmune disease. My inflammation was extremely high. Thank God I found the low fat whole food plant based diet about 5 years ago. In one month my health completely turned around. Inflammation went extremely low. I had rheumatoid arthritis. It completely went away and has never come back. God healed me. You can try whatever diet you like but that is what has worked for me.

Cancer begins when the body is in a state of acidity, the cells get starved of oxygen, uses then fermentation as energy source and yeast starts growing. Every cancer tumor is yeast overgrowth. They key to solving cancer is to block the glucose intake to cancer cells(the yeast) So keto diet and fasting is key, combined with a yeast killing natural treatment. Also a drug called fernbendazole works, has the function that it blocks glucose intake specifically.

@@drekberg My feeling is that berberine would be the preferred choice but it could not be patterned so they made metformin, my guess is after the trial is finished they will rebrand metformin, maybe add a hydrogen atom so that a new drug can generate huge profits, it's the way of medicine these days. 🙂

I understand that cancer cells live on glucose and glutamine. I've recently read that there are glutamine blocking drugs now. Glutamine's produced by our bodies, so the drug(s) would be necessary. These drugs and omiting all sources of sugar (artificial sweeteners as well) from our diets might help weaken the cancer cells and render them defenseless against chemo.

Our response to stress is learned and becomes part of our character, but it can be changed. I already sort of knew this, but the way you put it, the "have you lost your mind" part was eye-opening.

over 5 years ago, i had breast cancer (mom had it twice and died from the treatment, not the cancer) and on my own, not from my dr, i figured out taking vit d3 and zinc is the key.. i opted out of radiation as it was not needed in my particular situation with a clean removal and clear margin of the tumor, and i also didnt need chemo, per the mamoprint test of it, and would have opted out of that anyway.. and i opted out of tomoxifin (hormone blocker) which, after my research, in fact does NO good, but makes them a ton of money. just had my mamo and sono yesterday and all clean still. i also cut sugar over the last year.

Internal inflammation is a prelude to cancer especially for one who consumes food containing sugar. Inflammation loves sugar and when it gets enough sugar the cells in the inflammation start to reproduce. When inflammation cells start to reproduce they have a different resonance called morphic resonance which influences other cells in the body to start reproducing. That is how cancer starts. A tumor starts off as benign but if it gets enough sugar it's cells will start to reproduce and become malignant. Live long and prosper.

You are a miracle Dr Sten. The way you teach medicine is revolutionary. I want to go as far as describing you as a health Messiah. Although you are only human off course.... It's symbolically meant. You save people in a practical way by teaching them the truth about health. Millions of people. You have a way of capturing people's undivided attention with the way you teach health. You are beyond brilliant. The way you understand every little detail about the human body and how all of it interacts with each other is amazing. Your slow explanations, tender way and almost medative relaxing tone of voice puts people at ease. We feel so safe with you. You have a way of creating a deep sense of trust within us. I can listen to you forever. As I said in one other very very long comment (the one on ego and happiness 11 years ago) I often fall asleep with the video's still on and it still doesn't bother me enough to get up. Your voice is actually very soothing as you are soft spoken... Then I get up and say "Good heavens I must switch my phone off now and get some sleep!" Furthermore your personality is a delight. So down to earth and relatable unlike many Doctors who believe they've descended from heaven. And having been a very sick young woman I have known many (Endocronologists, gynecologists even a neurosurgeon. You are the sweetest man I've ever known. You have changed my understanding of the whole world and everything in it and how it affects our bodies profoundly. Thank you so much for blessing us with your beautiful mind and heart. For caring for people the way you do. You are a gift to this world.
