I find this video excellent for me. Not many videos are catered for the very low handicapper. KZbin videos are basically for the golfers who are double digit handicappers or above. This post is an absolute gem. Thank you so much .

I had the “leave the club behind and pull with the body idea” fit ages and wondered why I felt my swing was disconnected and wild. The small detail of it being the club head you leave back not the handle is so key to getting the hands into the correct delivery position. These downswing vids are helping me so much👍

Hi Adam, I came across your instruction videos on you tube and now am hooked. I’m 58 years old living in New Zealand. I have watched 100s of other instructors videos and they don’t come close to your exceptional knowledge and presentation. Easy to follow, not rushed and great demonstration of the breakdown and faults of swing. Exactly what all us need to improve. Wish I found you earlier. Please keep up the fantastic you tube videos and thanks for sharing your amazing content and expert analysis with us.

... I'm large man with a big belly. Doing this move makes so much room for my hands to get through and I feel like I can really keep my chest over the ball. $$ -- Matching the hands to the hips helps with the syncing as well. I've got the master class, but these YT vids have diamonds in them.

I really appreciate the great content, thanks. Love the right hip back feelings, more videos like this combined with correct way and wrong way to then move the left side, i.e. does left hip push away from target line vs rotating around and back vs posting up on left leg to create vertical force.

Adam, love this video and your patient instruction is a joy - you are a natural communicator. Can I check one thing? You talk about "fast hands" on the downswing, is this the case throughout the bag?
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
Oh yes! But you can make the adjustment for the more lofted clubs your hands feel faster and for a longer less lofted club the club head may be what feels faster as the longer have your club needs a little more effort to get past us and we want to present more of the natural loft of the club to the golf ball instead of delofting it like a short iron.

I love your videos and I don't know if you edit them but a lot of times it seems like you give them something to work on and then a very nice swing you're telling them something else to work on It's like they're not getting into the groove to work on the one thing you tell them but you must edit the videos

i have the problem at times of the right knee and hip popping out and i can kinda see it in the corner of my eye but did not understand what was happening except for the bad shot. now i see the fix, thnx.

At 6:05 Adam suggested he use a 9 iron vs. a 7 iron to start when practicing the swing sequence. At what point would it be time to "graduate" to longer clubs? Thanks.
@steveperry13442 жыл бұрын
when i come down i key on pulling the left hip back and that works a lot of the time but i guess the hip bone is one big piece of bone and it seems what ever one hip does the other hip does the opposite so at times the right hip and the knee pop out and ruin the shot it seems. so i have to work on keeping the butt back. thnx again for the help.
@ryanlampton4576 Жыл бұрын
right around minute 8:20 you spoke really quickly that Frank "chunks" it when he does this. I find myself doing the same. The cure to that is just getting your hand through more quickly? Do you another video that goes over this point specificlly? How not to chunk when keeping your hips back?
@guitar19502 жыл бұрын
Eric Cogorno just reposted a video he did with Mike Malaska on how the hips should work in a straight line (not just turning) as though walking away from the ball. I looked up this video of yours to verify what you teach. Seems very much the same concept.

Hi Adam, I'm a little lost on down swing. Should I be using my left hand to pull n relax my right or just rely solely on my weight shift ? Any advise as I'm always using right hand alot on down swing n creating chic wings . Thanks kin advance.

By doing this move incorrectly will it cause lower back pain?
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
A lot of things could cause lower back pain, early extension and lateral movement in the golf swing or two of them…. We always say however the proper golf swing stretches your body doesn’t hurt it
@petercrocitto73832 жыл бұрын
I am going through the master program now, I do get lower back pain when I swing now, I want to change my swing so I can eliminate my back issues, which drills do I focus on first? Unfortunately what I think I’m doing right however mostly doing wrong.
