Yeah, Allen Iverson had a significant impact off the court as well. He brought a unique style and swagger to the NBA, influencing a whole generation of players and fans. Iverson's authenticity and individuality resonated with people, especially in his hometown of Philadelphia. He was known for his philanthropy work and giving back to the community. Iverson's influence extended beyond basketball, making him a cultural icon. His impact is still felt today, and he continues to inspire many both on and off the court.

Yes I agree with you it looks way more organized and competitive than today's NBA. Today's NBA in my mind is closer to High lvl pickup then organized ball. It's because back then every time down they ran a set vs now majority of teams just read and react or have a flow offense. NBA offenses are a lot more random now compared to back then when it was more organized.

No u ain’t tripping or nothing whoever this concerns. Back in the late 80’s to the early 2000’s. It was real basketball. Now it’s everybodies a three point shooter. And if u a Star u get all the calls. To many three’s and not enough “D-efense.

Allen Iverson is one of the true greats in my book. Too bad he could never win a title, but the man was a king on the court, and a truly unique man who changed the game and did so much off the court as well. One of the best of the best, and a joy to watch. Lovable guy, too. Side note: Forgot Chris Webber spent some time on the 76ers.

Two things become immediately apparent after watching a few minutes of this. There were a lot of bricks and air balls. A lot of shots being adjusted out of fear of being blocked leading to many of those bad shots.. Some of the rotations on defense were really quick leaving no day light on some possessions. These games felt more like chess battles of attrition whereas today's NBA is like a constant offensive onslaught. Defense be damned. Bum squads in today's NBA can put 120 on any given night. The other thing is the level of talent in today's NBA is utterly ridiculous on average compared to some of these old games. Thanks for posting this. Brought back some memories.

I love MJ, Kobe and Lebron but damn... I honestly can't see any of them at 5'11 doing what AI could do. 5'11 and has same amount of scoring titles (4) as KD who is 6'10. Played passing lanes like no other. Could kill any guard on the midrange or take it straight to a 7 footer at the post without fear. Underrated passer who was conistently top 10 in APG from 04 - 09. NBA wasn't the same when AI left...

If we want to win we need a big trade, the fultz/wagner chemistry is undeniable and he is younger with an unlimited ceiling. Fultz could get his groove back with the right people, Paolo is a junk yard dog and as much as I love him I say we trade him asap bc of his performance. He’s a one man show from what I have seen and it’s awesome but for the team just watch the difference. It’s all iso with P5 and he kills it lol it’s a tough decision but we could be in the finals with the right trade
