Holy ****!!! I love you for this quilt design. I have a "ton" of charm packs that I was given and now I know how I am going to Zip through them! I can also see how using your method could be used for various sizes of blocks sewn together in this way. I can also see that maybe this could grow into a larger quilt by adding more backing after the center baby quilt is completed. What do you think?💓💓💓

I am a Quilt As you Go Quilter. All of my quilts are made this way. Another method that you can use is Fun and Done. [you can make your templates with cardboard or dollar store cutting boards. [ your quilt will have a sashing. ]. I love to piece my blocks first. [ I have discovered that I can design my backs too using this method. I usually make the back a more simple block because I am too excited to se the finished designs. ]. My quilting tip use a pattern for size and design because of the quilting math. I have learned not to wing it. Thanks for listening if you have a Facebook page, I’ll post some of my quilts there to inspire you. I know you have definitely inspired me. Godspeed.

I’m currently trimming some disappearing 9 patch blocks that had the original cut into 4 and then were stitched into a new block by some big brother helpers making a quilt for their baby brother. I’m trimming them all to 6”. I think if I use your method of drawing the grid on the batting and write a number in each section they can pick up sections sewn together and labeled with a number they can follow the numbers like you did and be done by the end of the weekend. So far we have been working on this for 4 months. Thanks for the inspiration and the fantastically helpful video.

He threw himself rigth onto it and said: Oh, it's so soft and cosy!!! He asked me, how long it took me. He uses it as his chilling pillow! 😀 So thank's again for showing the other method, too!!!
