I’ve been using Dremels for 40 years, but you’ve got some next-level skills! I have the flexible shaft attachment, but really need to add the drill press attachment to my toolkit. Fantastic overview of the flexibility of these amazing tools.

You have a really great experience. I have been modeling for eleven years. But when I tried the PROXXON in the workshop of one of my trainers - I realized that it is the best rotary tool for modeling... P.S. Drill press - it is a very useful device and sometimes even irreplaceable...

I"ve been using a Dremel rotary tool for over 60 Years .My dad bought one in 1956 and gave it to me, I still have it and still use it . Never had any issues with it other than replacing the brushes . Great tool .

Olha love the video on the use of rotary power tools. I have seen you use them in some of your videos that I have been watching. I hope that 🙏 you are wearing eye protection when you use the cutting discs. I have a rotary power tool myself. I even wear eye protection when using it no matter what the job I am doing. Great video Olha 🖕

Yes - those discs fly in all directions very easily - once a piece got stuck in my leg - now I work only in jeans))) And I also use eye protection...

Unfortunately, there is no manufacturer on these drills, but they are for jewelers. They are strong and elastic - do not break even if you drill without a stand...

Hi Olha! I'm starting my first wood model ship and just happened across your videos. I must say I love your work! Not sure if I'm going to go for the Proxxon just yet, but I would like to know what rotary tool attachments you use most often. It doesn't look like the Proxxon has many accessory attachments.
@OlhaBatchvarov3 жыл бұрын
For the first model, even a hand tool will suffice. The tools should be bought when you decide that this hobby is for you. For the rotary tool most often I probably use different diameter of Sanding bands, Сut-off weals and Drills...

Thanks for this great review. Been wondering about my cordless Dremel besides the weight. I stepped up and ordered one of the Proxxon you indicated, thank you. Can I ask what type of tip you are using to drill your tree nail holes? ~ 9:45 on the video. Looks like a counter sink but it is tiny vs the ones I have for wood working. Thanks john

I'm glad it was helpful. I usually use 0,35-0,50mm drill bits from Amazon for nails...

When I bought my tool, there were no wireless options. But before choosing, I would look for it in the store to hold in my hands. To test how balanced a wireless type. Because mine is just perfect and I can work directly on the model even in hard to reach places...

Dremel's moto tool is good and strong, however their drill press is not. I'm much more satisfied with Proxxon's that features a full steel column in a metal alloy base. You just cannot cut corners when it comes to precision with a cheaply produced tool. So, Proxxon it is.
@OlhaBatchvarov3 жыл бұрын
I also prefer PROXXON - their rotary tools are just perfect!

Не. Стачивать большой объём дерева - слишком мусорно. Предпочитаю нож и резцы
@OlhaBatchvarov3 жыл бұрын
Никогда не пробовала обрезать ножем! А какие резцы вы используете? И нож по всей видимости тоже специальный должен быть?
@zchz22243 жыл бұрын
