On my last food day in Singapore, I tried out a Michelin-star Chinese Restaurant and then went to one of my favorite night markets afterward called satay street.

Stall 3 beef is good too. From the video stall 7&8 really look like they know what they're doing. It not overly charred,which i hate, and the prawns looks amazing. Might want to go eat again soon.

Hi Mikey! That sauce that you dipped with the prawns at the end is called “sambal kichap”! It’s a mix of sweet dark soy sauce, lots of chillies, a lil bit of sugar & salt! Sometimes a bit of lime/calamansi too! It’s a very popular dip for malay dishes 😊

You can also get duck satay at lau pa sat. I'm not sure if the stall is still there. I can't remember which stall number sorry! Also, satay babat if you haven't try it yet. It's a layer of cow's fat with the same spices and it's super good! I always get satay babat because it's chewy and soft if it's cooked right. 😋

Pork knuckles and Pig's feet are two of the most underrated pork-meat-cuts in America. The Chinese, Filipinos, Germans, Czechs, and French are pretty much the only people in the the world who really know how to prepare these meats perfectly. And all five of their cuisines are excellent at it. Its funny, because the people who DON'T KNOW what these pork parts are all about always think that they are filled with unhealthy fat. But they're actually thick with very healthy glistening collagen and not fatty at all. I mean, how does an animal get a fat foot or an overweight ankle? The notion is ridiculous.

I never thought someone will dunk beef or mutton sate into peanut sauce😅 i always dunk red meat sate into that spicy soy sauce because that's what the sate vendor here give you. But that aside i will try dunking red meat satay into peanut sauce next time

Don't worry. These side dishes (usually a small plate of peanuts or pickles) are about only 2 USD or so each. They are meant to whet your appetite while waiting for food to arrive. while the restaurant enjoys a high profit margin from these sides, they barely hurt your wallet.
