I think the important distinction that yoda misses is that it doesn't not LEAD anywhere It simply opens up the pathway, being scared can often lead to anger if you let it, anger will inevitably lead to hate if you feed it, hate will always lead to suffering, as it is all consuming. The jedi are wrong in their absolutes, they may open up the possibility, does not mean it always will, however, making one feel guilty for feeling natural feelings, will almost certainly make said journey down this path that much more likely

That's true, but his suffering was not entirely his fault, the Jedi order's restrictions of basic human desires severely impacted anakin's will, and the extreme manipulation and indoctrination he was put through only made it worse
