Oh dear, the sooner you buy a 40 horse power tractor with a mulcher on the back, the sooner you can relax with a beautiful lawn, and also prepare gardens or broader plantings of vegetables and fruit.

@@DomaineSauvage It is possible to rent this class of tractor with mulcher. This is a really good way to break the wild scrub and restore the property to a stage where you can then begin using the fields to produce crops or graze cattle and create fences. It breaks my heart to feel how hard it is to use a whipper snipper to cut so much of the overgrowth by hand.Renting equipment is very cost effective.

I live in West Lafayette Indiana. About 1 hr. North of Indianapolis Indiana.Not as pretty like your farm,.Still has beautiful things around us.My husband I would like to move farther out from city. There was so much farmland,fields of beauty, the has put in a concrete jungle. Don't here coyotes like we once did. Now it is automobiles. There are a lot businesses coming up fast along with 4 new hotels. So very happy you young people are doing the dream.

Hey William, during the day it is fine she stays put but if i go out at night she hears and sees better then me and then sometimes she can go off, but she knows when i shout NO to stop immediately 👍

I raised a Belgian Malinois from a 4-6 month old abandoned pup and had her for 14 years. Very close in size and temperment to June. Most of that time was on a property of 71 acres in the "mountains" of western NJ near the Delaware River. Doggie heaven for a Malinois. Couldn't ask for a better dog, learned so quickly and was aggressive when needed but also could kiss babies in carriages too. Never bit anyone until she was very old and a little boy pulled her tail in July heat - she gave him a nip not a bite. @@DomaineSauvage

She is a good dog, sometimes we keep Odin and June separate so she can have some rest too because Odin doesn't know the limits yet, but soo far all good and we give them equal attention so there is no jealousy. Hopefully she can stay a few more years with us ❤

Hi There It was lovely to watch your programs yesterday. all 32 of them! Where about are you in France? I might have missed you mentioning it in the vlog. Anyway, fantastic achievement and very hard work for the two of you. It will be an amazing place when it is completed. I love baby Odin, he has such an easy going nature, and is gorgeous 'a croquer'! I renovated an old farmhouse that I bought on my own in Normandy thirty years ago, with just an acre, but the house was in a bad state. Unfortunately, as I am on my own and getting on, I am thinking of going back to my house in London, that has less upkeep, and more amenities. It is a heart breaking decision as I poured blood, sweat. tears and money into it and like it very much. I am in awe of the hard work that Phillip does in his flip flops, and the episodes with the digger were a bit concerning...I like Anicia's food preps and video making, also the lovely girls from the chicken shed. I have been once to Northern Belgium and loved the cities of Ghent and Bruges. Any way Good luck to you both and well done!

What a lovely spot you have found! The cleanup is making a huge difference. I grow roses and spotted that lovely red one near the house, I think. I discovered your channel through the Mr. Bloke channel - another couple that bought an abandoned farm in France. They recommended you. Haha yeah we are suddenly getting a lot of subscribers through Mr. and Miss Bloke!! Yeah we have a few videos already 😅, we are not on the same storytelling level as Mr. bloke though so bear with us as we learn our way. Yeah it is a big Rose but it was very wild so Anicia's mom gave it a pruning, hopefully this spring it will be beautiful again!👍

Your compost heap should have quite a start with all the grasses you have cut; maybe neighbors have grazing animals which could use?

It is starting to grown yes, but we have a lawn mower now which cuts it and leaves it on the ground.

I have seen some of these channels before. But, usually the homes a completely unliveable. Hole in the roof broken doors and windows. What little you have shown you have picked a decent home and huge yard.

The home is in a pretty decent state, it needs a full renovation but it is livable. We are happy we went with something like this and not a full blown ruin.

You have a beautiful property. I hope you have researched the snakes in your area. I live in northern Italy and almost grabbed a Piemonte serpent by mistake while clearing brambles from my old garden stone wall.

Hello CiaoBella, Thank you! We have little snakes who are poisonous so in the tall grass we should wear boots instead of flipflops 😅, we have bigger ones who are not poisonous as well.

@@DomaineSauvage Good to know you are aware of them. Little poisonous snakes can get into every crack and small place though. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of snakes, except the non-venomous larger types that eat the venomous snakes. 😉👍

It was owned by one family and handed down, at one stage they started renting it out and not really caring for it anymore or having the means to care for it. The farmhouse is perfectly livable but does need a complete overhaul.

Hey David, thx! Where we live their are noone! They tried to put up a big project near us but it was rejected. Very weird location as well right next to a nature reserve 🤔
