Re your question about the value of a bespoke build @14:07. I think many people would deem such a build by the marque higher than its standard offering. Yet, as revealed by you and others, sometimes the marque cuts corners such as dodgy welds that are covered by surface materials like carpeting. Customers have the comfort of a factory warranty plus low risk selling it in the future. Then there are specialist builders such as Singer, which is a kind of like the IT world's value-added reseller (VAR). Singer had to earn it reputation one car at a time, and that began with its first customers accepting the risk and then Singer presenting a completed bespoke project that met or exceeded expectations. And there's you. One of the merits of your process is it's fully documented. Are Ferrari and Singer recording every step of the process and then presenting it for public viewing and scrutiny? No. A customer ought to take comfort in that. If buyers place importance of the paper trail of a car's service history, they ought to value higher a videography of build. Over the years you've been establishing a reputation as a conscientious and skilled builder, things a motoring enthusiast values. Still this is your first(?) commission and it now enters the realm beyond your control: the customer's opinion. If s/he heaps praise on it, takes it to shows for others to see and touch, is reviewed by credible 'authorities', its value ought to increase which will knock-on to your subsequent projects. The person who commissioned this had faith in your work (established by your videos) and probably was looking for a deal. Your videos and cost breakdown of the completed car establish two of the three pieces. The third remains to be revealed.

That's a surprisingly good price, I was expecting a lot more. To the crazy collectors a non-original car will never be worth as much as a factory original. But at the end of the day, the car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

Does that mean all your genuine stradele bits on the black one get refurbished and go on the genuine stradele chassis (bit complex because RHD v LHD? 🥴 ) so you have a full on legit stradele at last and then... the standard bits currently on the silver donor go on your black one and that gets sold, returned to being a standard car??? (Musical stradele chairs 😂 )

Congrats Scott, the Stradale Spider (How should I call it, the SS?) looks and sounds absolutely amazing. Never been a Ferrari guy, more like a Porsche one, but gotta admit why people sometimes worship the manufacturer, it really has some charms going on when you press that gas pedal. Was a long project and it surely makes something to see the car being loaded to the trailer for its final journey.

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime....(

I would say in the UK its value, just my 2ps worth £120-£130k. However where that would really be worth money is in the USA. The values of older Ferraris has absolutely sky rocketed in the US recently.

Yes, its a mod/build car that is not OEM. However, the build was executed to a phenomenally higher standard that what the factory would consider to be acceptable, the paint is flawless, and the panel gaps as well as the overall fit-and-finish is dramatically better than factory! I’d argue that this should be called an “OEM Build” car because it is not a factory original, but every single part is genuine Ferrari (minus the the floor panels-but who the hell cares) and, once again, executed to a much higher standard than Ferrari themselves. Standing ovation sir! Well done!

This Spider isn't a real Challenge Stradale, and because of that, it will never be valued as much as a genuine CS. No matter how good (or better) it was put together with genuine CS components, Ferrari will never recognise it as a CS. And without official Ferrari recognition, this is just a CS clone - even if it's a spider. For value, it probably would have been better to cut the roof off a real Challenge Stradale and turn it into a Spider. But any modification to a genuine CS, no matter how good, will just de-value it.

Its a fantastic build. But when it comes to value, Ferrari folks are weird. Only make I know of that sues and blacklists owners that do things to their cars that they don't like. From my perspective, its the same value as a normal average Stradale. Were I a purist... not even going to guess, some probably appreciate it, others probably hate it.

Used the same ceramic coating on all my Ferrari's seems to be very good. One of the car has had some paintwork so I left it over a month before ceramic coating.

I am actually surprised Ferrari haven't taken you to court over calling it this. dont get me wrong - fully appreciate the amazing hard work you have put in to this and the end result is amazing. I see no problem at all with rebuilding a Ferrari so that it becomes the way you want it. You rebuild and customize other car brands to become the way you want them, so that it is a Ferrari does not matter. Then the construction is well built and what someone is willing to pay, I think there are people who would pay 500 - 600 000 Euro for the car, partly they love the brand but they should own a unique Ferrari and the only one in the world.
