My guy I’ve got a cool idea for a series. 3 levels of X but with a twist. Jordan is allowed to use all high level shop tools Sam can use the intermediate stuff Then you’re only allowed beginner DIY tools, ryobi circular saw, impact, drill, cheap chisels etc etc All 3 if you make the same thing, but with different levels of tools

Love them both for very different reasons. John's is fun and whimsical and took a lot of manual labor, but S&J's is clean and modern. I'd love a set of 4 of Sam & Jordan's for my deck!

I gotta say artistically I like the first one a lot, but if it comes to putting something in my house - I chose the second one. I commented in the first challenge that I didn't like how the plywood layers are visible everywhere in the second table and that made it look worse for me. I think this time you both did an amazing job hiding the plywood! I really think that both projects were amazing.

Both chairs are awesome. johns for the craftsmanship and the guys have the best design. Only one thing i kinda miss on that chair is something for the lowerback or to keep a pillow on that surface. But damn it looks good.

Up until the finish I was certain John would win, but when he just painted the whole chair black without any brighter parts or fading, I thought the youngsters would claim the throne. But only until I saw their coloring choice. Playwood can be so aesthetic, why cover it in white? Just apply a coat of clear matte varnish and it will be an eyecatcher.
