For the last couple of months i have two 45 minute eating window on daily basis. One around lunch time and one around dinner. I mostly eat healthy stuff (non processed). Also i do a monthly extended fast (mostly 48 hours sometimes a 72 hours). I really love it. I feel much better than last years when I was eating 6 times a day with portion control. Currently my BMI is stable between 23.5 and 24 (before it was around 25 and when i lived/ate like a pig around 28) In the end it is all about controlling the insuline level in your blood. For some people eating less, exercize more is enough, for some people they dont loose anything with this strategy because their insuline is still too high and they need to try another approach.

For a month started lowering carbs and am now in ketosis and am switching to carnivore-ish for the next 2 months… Doing a 90 day body challenge and am 1 month in. I work out 3-4 days a week, average 10k steps a day, and play volleyball a couple times a week. Started the challenge at 229 and am 211 now…. Scale must have been off the first day because I weighed 6 pounds less very quickly so we shall say I actually went from 223 to 211 in a month. Obviously erase water weight. So maybe 6 lbs of fat loss in a month… I needed a root canal a couple of weeks ago and need to eat to take my antibiotics. After those are done I’m going to start doing rolling fasts… 24 and 48 hours… my goal is to get to 190 lbs in 2 months… I will stay there a while then eventually get done to 160.

Just be careful with plant based. It’s my preferred plan with occassional meats mixed in for holidays (thanksgiving in particular) or other special occasions. My b-12 was fine, but my vitamin d was very low. So eating foods fortified with vitamin D was great. Eating eggs daily solves both of those problems though. And if I do eat meat I make sure it’s poultry/fish as fish as the omega-3’s and the vitamin d.

One effective way to lose belly fat is to focus on a combination of diet and exercise. Here’s a simple approach: ### Diet: - **Reduce Sugar and Refined Carbs**: Cut back on sugary foods, drinks, and refined carbohydrates (like white bread and pastries). These can lead to weight gain, especially around the belly. - **Increase Protein Intake**: Eating more protein can boost metabolism and reduce appetite, which helps with weight loss. Include sources like lean meats, fish, eggs, and legumes. - **Eat Plenty of Fiber**: Soluble fiber helps you feel full and can reduce fat accumulation. Foods high in fiber include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. - **Stay Hydrated**: Drinking plenty of water can help control hunger and maintain metabolism. ### Exercise: - **Incorporate Cardio**: Regular aerobic exercise, such as walking, running, or cycling, can help burn calories and reduce fat. - **Strength Training**: Building muscle through weight training can increase your resting metabolic rate, helping you burn more calories even when not exercising. - **High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)**: This involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by rest and can be very effective for fat loss. ### Lifestyle: - **Get Enough Sleep**: Lack of sleep can lead to weight gain, including belly fat. Aim for 7-9 hours per night. - **Manage Stress**: High stress levels can lead to weight gain, particularly around the belly, due to the hormone cortisol. Consider stress-reduction techniques like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises. Combining these dietary changes, exercise, and healthy lifestyle habits can lead to effective and sustainable belly fat loss. 🙏✅

Let me guess.. you’re either fat and lazy or don’t have very much muscle. When bodybuilders cut down you think they don’t lose weight? What do they say? It comes back with muscle memory after they refeed and workout and it comes back quickly. It’s not lost and gone forever. The cells are still there and can be pumped up again when you choose to reintroduce carbs and continue to workout.

Fat is made up of fat cells called adipocytes. These cells store fat within them. You cannot delete them or "burn them off", when you lose weight from exercise or fasting, you only shrink the size of cells as they release their stored fat. That's why when you put on weight, you always gain it in the same places as adipocyte distribution in the body is genetic. If you want to lose weight, you have to stop feeding those cells, you have to starve them of fat. Drastically reduce the amount of fat in your diet so your body is forced to use its fat and glycogen stores.
