I’m only part-way in … but 😂 yeah, I’m not sure if there is a plot. 🤷♀️ I’ll watch it … not expecting much tho, at this point. fwiw, the really *old* Documentary about climate change, « The Coming Ice Age » is funnier/more-entertaining. It’s maybe 1970-ish, normal climate change documentary, but they worried we’d be buried in snow! 😮 funny because it’s normal familiar climate science, but they see it go the other direction. 🤯 it’s a shorter movie too! 😅 [ and the last half is like, advert for remineralization, using Rock Dust in agriculture. ] 💜👍 interesting, if nothing else!

Unfortunately, some idiot eliminated the first 30 minutes of the movie, leaving it starting at a very stupid place. That first 30 minutes set the whole scenario up perfectly, and it had a huge amount of great drama with the first quake's devastation being the entire focus. You knew from the first minute it was going to be a good movie. Now they've deleted multiple scenes that were crucial to the whole plot, and it's become nothing but a trashed out mess.

it seems to happen every day in the USA. IE the la di-daa long drawn out SOAP saga apocalyps. It didn't used to be like that. Not in the thirties or forties. It permeates other televised events also where instead of delivery of the actual sport or event there are three or four commentators trying to delivery every thing as if it is their show about them and they are the supposed stars rather than the celebrity or star preforming. So you get maybe 2 miuntes of action then adverts then some joke which is supposed to be funny but isn't then a reply about the joke and a piece of trivia followed by another ad and a few location shots then la-di-daa it just goes on and on. till after another three minutes you get to see some more action o9f the event. All whilst Tornados are ripping up Tpwns in Oklahoma r Kasas, rain clouds flloding Texas, San Andreas opening up, Wild freezing wind driven snows piling up 3 yards deep in North Dakota and Cali Sierras. Of course Hurrican season is soon to start and some how you know whilst there has been a hurrican season every year since Seventeen Seventy-Six the media sensation show will dramatise it as if it is something which has never happened so big ever before and some how it seems to catch everyone off guard living in flimsy wooden structure build for a fine washing day. Then there's the mass forest fires. New Orleans sinking which reminds me of the cliffs falling down and ground sink holes. But this is just the tip of a big Ice berg with Hollywood at the center.

It's all fun and games until it becomes real; the problem with these movies is they make it look like another day in the park; you are talking about 95% of all living things dying, you will be starting from scratch, so it will take another 6 to 10,000 years to ever see the car again, that is you have anyone that remembers what a vehicle is - everything is built on the tech knowledge of the past, we did not just wake up someday and made the computer, or electricity, it took hundreds of year and thousands of other inventions before

Exciting movie, absolutely worth the watch. The pace it begins with, stays throughout. As someone else said, too much shakey cam, but that's literally my only complaint. Good actors and it keeps the tension going and drives the movie forward and keeps it interesting. Nice blend of science, lots of action and some drama, but they keep it to a comfortable minimum. Only what's necessary to the plot and get you to connect to and feel for the characters.

@MrBilld75 Жыл бұрын
@@mr.2cents.846 Yeah, the effects were typically low grade. lol. I pretty much expect that from all B movies. When you do it right, you get Skylines and you mix practical effects with CGI, rather than bad CGI. Skylines did that, until they could do better CGI in the sequels. There was some great alien costumes in that flick and practical effects. Then by the third one Skylin3s, they were doing much better CGI.

Bit of a miss step in the Sun Valley hit. Sun valley should be absolutely covers in a thick dust layer just like Pompai. In the film there isn't even a slight covering.

This is a great movie, but where is the first part? There is another part to this that starts from the beginning, and ends where this one starts. I’ve only seen it a couple times, and haven’t seen it in over a year. It explains what happens up to this point. I really would like to see both of them
